Proofs!
The 1968 quarter and the nickel came from two separate customer deposits on the same day. The other 2 proofs I found in the last box I went through.
The 68 so shiny ✨️

22 in total, most of them were found in boxes from loomis. Id say 5 or 6 I got from customer wrapped rolls while working. Nothing beats seeing that W in a sea of P's and D's 😭
These two came from the same box. Its the 2nd box ive found more than one W in. The first time I found 3 in one box. I didnt even know I was missing the American memorial one. I thought I had that one already so that was a neat surprise.
Id like to see how many I can find by a year.

I just added number 5 of 7. These are absolutley stunning in person. The detail is truly incredible. They are all preserved in capsules designed for their exact size. Here are the ones I have in the order I bought them.
The Siren
The Privateer (or The Storm)
The Captain
The Kraken
The White Whale
Im missing
The Plank
Davy Jones Locker
Ive been lucky enough to snag these at insane discounts through auction websites. They tend to fetch a very high premium above their weight in silver. The last 2 are a little more scarce it seems. Ive been keeping my eyes peeled. Pirate silver, it seems, has become a new obsession. 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
CWR for the win!
Johnny Cash quarter
2 S proofs
3 spitting horses
1 homestead "snow on the roof"
Finally getting the declaration of independence quarters coming in. No privy yet.
Some canadian nickels and dimes. One of the nickels was for some 50 year anniversary or something.
2 liberty dimes (for the first time in circulation)
2 Colombian 50 pesos coins.
Happy hunting!
Unopened! I had 11 different ones, no silver and no type 1 bicentennials. Would love to fill this one one day.
2nd purchase made extremely easy and quick. Thank you!
1 beautiful 1964 silver Washington, and 1 more (clad) Balboa quarter from Panama for the collection.
Its been so long since ive found a silver quarter. One of the best feelings in the world let me tell ya.
Another W, this one is number 20! 2 more impaired clad proofs.
And to my disbelief, a spitting horse. I couldn't tell at first, as its not super obvious. But its protruding and not a scratch. What do you guys think about that one??
She said as she handed me 2 half dollar rolls. I asked her how old, because they might be worth a little extra. She said she didnt want to bother with em. I waited until she left, and boy oh boy. It was a very busy day, and I was manning the line myself most of that day. This made it all worth it.
The walking liberty half dollar is one of my favorite coins ever minted. I cannot believe the detail on the 1942.
This job has changed my life in many ways. The introduction to this hobby, and the changes this job allowed me to make in my personal life have me grateful beyond what words can describe. Idk what lies ahead, but im excited to find out.
I have an Xray and Vav poster, and an Achievement City poster in excellent condition that I just found in my stuff. They have both been in the original packing tube I recieved them in like 12 years ago. I have never put these up on the wall.
There is one piece of merch ive always wanted and it was the physical cookbook the guys put out. Would anyone be willing to trade?
Here was my though process:
"Holy crap a silver proof!"
"Wait what"
This coin is very clearly plated, but idk what with. Its very shiny and even looks to ve plated with more than one layer. But it weighs the exact same as a regular quarter. 5.6 grams on the dot. Its very strange.
Im starting to feel bad at this point 😭💀💀
Karl dont kill me i didnt mean to 💀
This makes 17 found since I started in February. I like W's very much.
Found a camouflaged colored proof, and a nice W i didnt have yet :)
Im getting another box tonight for this weekend. Very excite.
Plus a canadian dime. Although I did think it was silver by the edge of course 🤦♂️
Ive never seen this coin before. It was to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Confederation. Whatever that means.
99.9% nickel
I got a little busy this past week. Here are some coins I found. Most of these came from boxes.
Nothing makes me happier than silver and W quarters.
Found some cool new foreign coins as well!
Most of these proofs came from a couple friends ive made on r/DadFindsTreasure and r/counterstampkarl so shoutout, and thank you! Make sure you follow these subs if you dont already :)
I found a proof kennedy and a 2 dollar canadian coin in a roll at work.
A few war nickels, bison nickels, canadian nickels, and even a proof!
2 silver dimes, and a handful of liberty dimes i opened from a roll i had.
A steel cent, and a new penny :)
Two more boxes of quarters coming Thursday just need to wait until then 🥲
Can anyone give me advice. I bought this online, I have a cleaner case of the appropriate size for this round. I tried opening, but its stuck in the lid. I do not want to make any mark on this round. How do you take silver put of a tight case without harming it?
Edit: couldn't Crack it without excessive force, gonna let it sit in the freezer for a bit. Will be back with an update. Thank you for all the replied and advice. Very kind.
Shoutout u/Accomplished_Let3636 for the genuis idea of just a couple drops of isopropyl alcohol. It slipped right into the cracks, and a couple shakes later, she's free! Thank you thank you everyone for the suggestions and help. Appreciate you all!
