Fido's Winback Team Doesn't Even Seem to Care Anymore

I joined Fido paying $29/month for 50GB. After 6 months, my bill increased to $32.50. I stayed with Fido for another 10 months at that price, but now my bill has increased again to $37.50.

I called and they agreed to bring my price back down to $32.50, but I told them that wasn't good enough anymore. I said I wanted to be at $30/month or less. They refused, so I left Fido.

Today, I got a call from their winback team. Their offer? $35/month for 60GB.

I told the agent that was actually worse than what I had been offered before leaving. His response was "Okay, thank you. Have a good day."

He didn't try to lower the price, ask what it would take to win me back, or make any attempt to keep me as a customer.

For anyone else who feels like Fido has stopped caring about retaining customers, I honestly think you're right. Even if I accepted the initial $32.50 offer, who knows how long until they would increase it again.

Anyone played this before?

Picked this up for a whopping $1. It took around 6 hours to beat. I can't say it was a great game, but I still enjoyed playing it. I suspect that anyone who is a fan of the Lost TV show will enjoy certain aspects of the game. There were times where I kept dying and wanted to quit, but pushed through until the end. Which brings me to the ending... Just when I finally started to get the hang of things, the game ends.

Just curious if anyone here has played it and if so, what did you think of the game?

My Playstation Game Collection Sorted by Console

It's not everyday that I get to see all my Playstation games side by side so I decided to pull everything out. Funny to see how my buying habits remained steady until I got to the PS5. I have some digital games for PS5 and PS4 but this is the bulk of my collection. I am a strong believer that the consumer should have the ability to choose physical or digital based on their own needs. I prefer physical, but on occasion will purchase digital if there is a good sale or the disc is tough to find.

For anyone who is curious, I am currently playing Split Fiction and Ultimate Spider-Man. I have played almost all but I am always down to replay games. What should I play next?

Someone suggested smashing it

Found this for free in one of my local Facebook groups. The only other comment was to let the owner know they could donate it to a rage room to get smashed. The owner seemed curious, but luckily I swooped in and saved this beauty! This will be my 3rd CRT! So far I have 27 inch Sony Trinitron and 27 inch Sanyo.

Should I cut this out?

I was testing a VCR I had never used before and it chewed my tape. Wouldnt eject and I had to open up the top. From what I am reading, I should cut this part out and tape it together If I want to save the tape right? Good thing it wasnt anything important... still want to try to save it though. Thoughts?

Found this for free on marketplace! Super excited!

This would be my first CRT since my childhood. My parents must have tossed ours around 2007 after getting a flatscreen.

27 inch screen but this thing is massive! I sweat like a dog trying to get it home. I'm just glad it works but I have also read that KV-27FS100 is a pretty good model. Time to play some games and watch some movies! Oh, and yes, I ordered a remote so I can get that damn "Video 2" text off my screen LOL. I don't think there is any other way to remove it without a remote.
