Who would one talk to about cheques out by the government?
Recently recieved a cheque for close to 20 grand from the canadian government after inheriting a house. This money was not expected. The envelope had zero mention as to what this money is for. Who would I call to ask about a random cheque being sent out? Id hate to deposit it then they come calling for 20 grand that wasnt suppose to be mine to begin with.

Recommendations on how to prop up a fence that is leaning into our alley?

Just a general curiosity question as I havent been able to go by the Lawyers yet. Today we recieved an email from our lawyer that we were granted probate. My wife is the sole beneficiary as well as the executor so now that probate has passed what is our next steps in the process? I.e Land titles, car title, bank account transferring, bills transferring, etc?
