youtube.comI want OKC's #17 2026 FRP - Thoughts?
I desperately want to get OKC's #17 pick. Not as a move-up, but in addition to the #19. Will an unprotected 2027 FRP get it done?
Additionally, I would luv to trade Gradey into Chicago (38) or Brooklyn's (43) capspace for their second round pick. We can get a (future) rotation player with either of these two picks. Plus, it gives us more wriggle room to re-sign Mamu.

cbc.caWatch for pickpockets at the Do West Street Festival this weekend
The Do West Street Festival starts tonight at 6pm on Dundas West between Ossington and Lansdowne. Fri-Sun. I'm hoping for dry weather on Saturday. Free event!
It will likely be very, very crowded. There will be pickpockets there. There will sadly be posts in this sub about people "losing" their phones at this festival this weekend.
Do not carry your phone in your back pocket or the side pocket of your jacket. It will be stolen if you do.
If you have a crossbody bag that you can swing around to the front of your body (so you can see and feel it), please do so. Thank me later.
This is the first street fest of the year and the unofficial start of summer in Toronto.
I usually like going on the Saturday after 7pm. So do lots of people, because by about 8pm on, it's extremely crowded. Dude, I'm serious. Be patient. Enjoy the slow walk. Love humanity (hate the pickpockets) and let the vibe wash over you.

youtube.comAre funeral viewings a thing in all Canadian provinces?
A while ago, I told a friend of mine in B.C that I (Ontario) was going to a funeral viewing the following evening. She had never heard of this practice and thought it was weird (I said "I'm not weird, you're weird!").
For those who may not be familiar with this practice, it is customary to have an opportunity a few days before the funeral for people to gather at the funeral home, where the deceased will lie in state (is that the term?), with the casket opened or closed, for people to pay their respects. This can happen over one or two days.
Is this just an Ontario thing, or is it just in B.C where it's not a thing? Or, is it a thing in B.C too, and my friend is truly the weird one?
