Question on the new gods

Sorry if stuff is explained in comics, I currently can't read any much since dc universe infinite isn't available where I live

So I found out that the origin for the new gods I knew about was already replaced and I have some more questions that I think will fit here more

Since now new gods are mainly produced through heritable means. Like if a new god and a human had s child, would it make that child automatically a new god.

The origin I knew of was basically when darkseid and highfather were basically mortals ascended to godhood by old gods. Didn't know it was replaced and wanted to ask. Since they changed it, did it also change that their powers basically are related to the source, or is that whole being evolved by the source also change.

Since they exist in the fourth world, and leave it to be in the multiverse through avatars, like what exactly would happen if the avatar dies, would the new god also die or what exactly happen to them is the avatar gets smiled, if that is even possible

Also what exactly happened to the high father not having the alpha effect anymore, I thought that was his main power since he basically is the good counter part to darkseid and his omega effect

Also could a human actually become a new god, like if they get exposed to some source energy, or maybe through a fragment of the god wave or could high father just ascent someone to new godhood

One question I have the wiki says that new gods can develop different kind of powers. Does that mean they can have stuff like telepathy, even higher strength or their own "force" that gives them new set of powers

[Dc] What exactly is a new God

I only know the lore that a new god basically is a mortal who ascended into godhood by an old gods powers. But what exactly does it make them, like you have darkseid and highfather who are basically the peak of new gods, and then you also have those who are under them. Like what makes a new god out, is it always being ascended into godhood by a old god when you are mortal, (I know mister miracle and Orion are new gods as they are born like that, asking more on the side if you go from mortal to divine).

I know when they die they go back to the source

If a human somehow managed to open a portal to the source wall and got some source energy, would that make them a new god. Or must it be directly from an old god. Also what makes them exactly different, old god Vs new gods. Aren't they basically the same, beings made of divine power

Like trying to understand why exactly they are supposed different from old gods and what makes them out as a new god. As they sound they are basically old gods with a face lift

Have somw question

I currently am playing a new class a day, decide that after I hit lvl 18 with my warlock yesterday and wanted to ask soms questions

Today i created a tauren druid with herbalist and alchemy and on the Internet I find many ways to get money but not sure which I should do as with making the plants to potions also helps me lvl my alchemy, but I read some are also just selling the stuff.

When do I know that im ready to to try to farm groups of enemies as i sometimes at best somehow mange to kill two enemies with my warlock while my void walker bites the grass.

What up with the whole deal with rested xp, some say that isnt needed for new players I in game I got told its totally worth as a new player. I looked it up and does look interesting but ik not sure if thats something for me

My time so far

So my time so far was good, the community isnt as i heard about how it's supposed to be and meet quite the friendly people who even explained stuff to me.

Im currently "maining" a shaman (lvl 20), with a warlock (15) and hunter (14) on the side. And in dungeon runs with shaman i go in as a healer because my dmg just sucks. Thought my healing is quite good, since I currently farming for the fang set in wailing cavern (have 2/5), also have the living of from the giant and the ring from the mutated fish guy. While solo doing quest, my dmg ain't bad, but definitely could be better.

Two days or so, i even made my first gold coin from the auction house from all the leather and loot I auctioned off (nearly like 60% from dungeon run). Though definitely have to do kore work as i now realy feel how expensive skills can be.

When I started my hunter char and got my pet, I noticed just how easy it is with him to farm and do stuff, since the pet pulls agro and I just sit in the back and shoot (currently have a scorpion as I saw no pig over lvl 10).

While I do have some struggle with warlock since voidwalker sometimes lost agro after I use immolation or a shadow blast

Some newby question

Sorry if grama and sentences building is wrong, English isnt my first language

So today I started to play trollshaman and try it out, I got stuck for hours as I had fun with it, being able to heal myself, have some insane aoe possibilities with my fire totems and weapon enchantments, though im not sure whats better with the staff i have, rockbiter or flametounge

So how does the auction house exactly function as i put all the copper ore and light leather i got together and hope someone buys ut but I have no idea if the amount i set is to high or to low as the answers on the Internet i find say often different things. I put the auction up for two days and hope someone buys it as i would need the money to buy somw better equipment and spells

I know shaman gets a summonable pet, but I saw some lion running around and skinning monsters, and evens tole some of my stuff and the owner was a Lauren shaman, where do I get one except I read it wrong and it was something else

As said I already have earth and fire totems and wnated to ask on the shaman mains, how do they scale, do i just have to buy a higher rank one for it to do more dmg

About jobs, I currently have skinning and mining and with skinning im already 125 and wnatez to ask, the higher the proficiency, does it just make the skinning faster or what exactly happens woth higher lvl as i have something around 60 leather hoping to be sold in thw auction house

How exactly doew the math work with missing a atk, like since im in the barrens, i feel like my attacks land less even though im around 60 with staffs.

Also how rare are green equipments, as i gor a few but got white trash again that does more dmg or has more armor to replace the green stuff I had and I jist sold them as i didn't see them in the auction house so I thought nobody wnated them

Sup, i started to play classic today for the first time. Im playing an orc warlock, am currently lvl9.

I know every start is hard, but locking rides behind lvl40 seems overkill as tye world is to big to run around, especially its frustrating when you die

Another thing I wana ask how agro functions, because whenever i send my imp to attack first, the moment I use either immolation ir corruption, the things start to attack me first akd just three tap me.

Also is there any good armor I can get for my warlock as currently all i see is jist to increase armor and nothing that could boost my dps as im not sure if it should take me this long to beat enemies when I see some rogue with a single attack deal more dmg then ny rank two shadow bolt

Are there ways ti heal during fights as said I get pretty much nearly 2 tapped by the enemies and im only in razor hills

Some questions

So I'm currently doing my run who I hope finally finish the game and wanted to ask some questions

Like I understand some of the time limits but how does it look from chapter 4 to 5 and some of the dlc.

What exactly is the use behind devil and gold dragon, as this two seem like they try to be something on their own but devil feels like demon but lawful and gold dragon felt like angel but atleast I got a transformation

About swarm who walks, like how does stuff actually work with the clones. Like do they all get the effects of armors and equipment. As I read on the wiki they have their own inventory but doesn't elaborate on stuff like equipment.

Is trickster actually the strongest mythic, as I have seen builds where enemies just died by being to close with all those aura effects.

How exactly does it work with wielding a one handed weapon with both hands, does the second slot just have to be empty or what

Why do some weapons feel less worth using like the Kukuri or the throwing darts or am I missing something with those as I can't see them being used besides maybe a rp run

Need some help

I currently am still planning a character I like enough to go beyond chapter 3 beginning of chapter 4.

And question is it even possible to have a character that has great melee combat but also is good at magic.and thought that if I go like hell knight signifier/eldritch knight combo.

And wanted to ask for some help to map out how that works as I thought I start as fighter (armiger), going into maybe wizard for 4 lvls, 5 signifier and 10 eldritch knight.

Starts I thought about 19 Str, 14 con, 12 dex, 16 int, 9 wie, 7 cha.

Feats I think of spell penetration and weapon focus. Problem is I have no idea what mythic path would fit exactly, as the problem is I want to play a chaotic neutral char but can't exactly if I go with signifier

A bit of a show case and have some questions

First yes I'm playing with cheats on because most stuff I found like the villages are like 3k+ blocks away and that's food I could save for other stuff. I only have it activyas said to us ether teleportion to my way points

So I'm currently pausing the quest progression and trying to get my food and ore shortages in check and wanted to ask for some tips how should I approach stuff like that.

Like currently I try to get as many different crops to get different foods because of that stupid 20 food rule.

Also I have no idea how to get the hungry axe, I know I have to get unstable ingots and the last time had to work with them they blew up my sky block base and since then I only work with them when needed. I also have found some pam gardens and spread some through my base front lawn.

Another thing I wanted to ask is if I already cam build a smeltery to double my ores or did they turn of that smelting ore gives you double the ore value.

Also have to ask a about the world itself, is it normal that I barley find any caves at all and those I find aren't exactly big. Like while searching for iron (luckily I found some, same with coal and gold, currently trying to find copper and tin so I can finally work on getting bronze stuff), or am I just unlucky for finding one Edit: So why I'm asking is I want to build a small monster farm for bones with punji sticks I have, I have a dungeon close to me but not sure if I should even try going inside to find a skeleton spawner. So that's why my question about caves.

Another thing about the lumberjack ace from tinkers construct, I tested it in a creative world and is it normal that when I try to Fell such a great tree that the branches dont get cut to. Is that normal or does the lumber jack axe only git straight trees without Branches

New to gtnh

So I have some questions as I don't understand some and the quest book isn't exactly helpful

1: how does the hunger system actually function as I have never played with that mod, I have a Chets full of stuff I got from the quests, from farms and what I all found but all just give low amounts of hunger and saturation, how can I actually get fed before I have to eat a stack of carrots

2: I see that tinkers construct is there, especially the good version with the cutless, but have to ask, how exactly does it work that when I find some stuff inside the tinkers hit in a village everything in a chest is just considered for the casts and I can't use anything besides the flint axe I found

3: now the one thing that basically bends me over, the ore system, the book doesn't help and all explanation on the internet are confusing, for the last two days I have been searching for iron, I have used that option to see those blue square in the 3x3 chunks, but the best I found was coal. Also what tools can activate that I see it on the map.

What's the best way to find the ores I need and where they are as I don't know if it is such a good idea for me to dig down the blue square and hope I don't accidentally dog into lava

(lotm General) Need some help to understand some things

This could be some longer questions Also sorry if there are mistakes or formating problems, english isn't my first language

1: How exactly does the white tower pathway allow one to create their own. I know the god of the path can give them spells but what needs to be exactly done besides having the knowledge to create spells.

Like what if I want to create a spell that basically something like DND magic missile or basically shooting Mana bullets from my finger tips.

2: is there actually differences between something like heretic magic, death magic and devil magic, or are those just clarifications for the path and every beyonder could technically learn them. Or are they actually types of magic only the certain path can learn and use.

3: now those special languages, like language of death, or the devil one.

Are those literal languages or basically a system to be able to use certain languages. Like if I was a German guy but had to speak Japanese to use omnyodo or you had to use Nordic runes to write down a spell

Or is it something more "conceptual" as in like a made up language that only that certain path can know

4: what path is actually the one who deserves the title of "tankiest one" as I see many people divided between chained one and twilight giant. I can see why both are considered with giant being extremely physical durability and chained one basically something like using a curse to transfer the DMG to something or someone else

5: what exactly happens If two high sequence beyonder with paths that can create their own domains like death and Justiciar where to face as in the sense of, what domain would stay and which wouldn't work. And how could paths like tyrant or sun deal against path like as said death, as from my understanding they basically can create a world where you're just at the biggest disadvantages, from your abilities slowly dying, to maybe even you in the end.

6: what paths are actually considering versatile, and I don't mean as in "I'm versatile because I can just copy another ability" as copying is just cheating. I mean as in a path that gives you many options for different problems, like I find that black emperor and death are versatile paths that give you many solutions for many problems.

7: I know death is one of the few paths that can actually kill one of the cowardly three or all 3. But what other paths are actually able to kill fool or error, with their whole shenanigans to stay alive. As I know red priest can attack multiple targets through cull when hitting just one body. But how can they make sure that they stay dead. Same with other paths, how can beyonder make sure those with self reviving abilities actually stay dead.

Also has anyone some general tips for me how to play better and keep my cool, because the rng ikeepa forcing me to reset every day at least 3 to 4 times and it's annoying

Some explanations

Can one give me an good explanation on all origins and archetypes what they do. As when I read through them I get a headache.

Some seem like less interesting compared to others and that arbitrator one seems like it can be something akin to "jack of all trades"

New to the game

Sup, i basically started to paint minis a few weeks ago and had rogue traders in my library for like a year but never got the time to get into it and now I have time and boy the character creation is hardcore

So I wanted to ask for some tips for a clueless newby. Like I want to play a psyker but already heard that it's like 10x more difficult then with other classes. Also does an proper build actually matter as I currently try to play a normal mode run and hope I can play a char that basically would represent me.

Any tips and guides would be helpful
