Married people, how do you keep your finances?

Do you combine it all and split down the middle once bills are paid? Do you each keep your finances seperate? Or something else. I just got ripped apart in another sub for saying we keep our money separate and now im curious what the norm is?

Last night i had the worst pain yet and im still tender today. Possible pentasa related?

Last night, I took my mesalazine and within an hour or so I got agonising stomach cramps which lasted from around 8pm until 3am when I finally fell asleep.

l will admit I haven't taken mesalazine in about 7 weeks as I was on a course of prednisolone, even though i was supposed to take both, i didnt. In the past mesalazine has caused minor cramps and nausea but this was something else.

The pain was so bad, as bad as labour. I couldnt do anything but lie on my bed writhing from the pain. It was so bad I vomited repeatedly, even when my stomach was empty and I was just vomiting bile over and over.

Today my stomach is still so sore and tender to touch or when I move.

Could it be the medication? Has anyone else had anything like this? It doesnt seem like food poisoning as I ate the same as my husband and he was fine.

It really is the simple joys sometimes.

Im sat here in the garden on a beautiful hot english summer day.

I spent yesterday gardening, so now im reclinimg on a deck chair under my apple tree, facing the horses in the countryside behind, and smelling the delicious perfume scent of my roses, while im reading a great book and stoned.

Does anybody not get scared by books?

Let me preface this by saying that im a huge book reader and also a huge wimp. I refuse to watch any horror movies because the last time I did (which happened to bein the cinema) I literally couldn't stop myself shrieking loudly and it was so embarrassing. I also had nightmares after watching I am Legend, which people say isn't even a scary movie. That being said, ive read several stephen king books now and I dont understand why im not getting scared.

Its actually kind of annoying, i WANT to be scared. I read Pet Semetery in the dark, with the curtains open and put creepy graveyard sound effects on to enhance the fear. I did get a little creeped out with the grave scene but thats it.

Does anybody else experience this? What can I do to really "feel" it.
