How far in advance do you start packing for a cruise?

My cruise is on Monday (we’re actually doing side by sides that total a week long) but I haven’t started packing yet. I have some piles, printed packing list from cruise critic and a rough idea in my head of what I’m bringing but would you consider this last minute packing? How far in advance do you start packing for a cruise?

Is it true that on embarkation day they always serve Prime Rib in the buffet?

I read that somewhere and just wanted to ask here to see if it’s true. I know some of you have been on many NCL cruises and would know. Thanks!
(I tried to search this but the search is pulling every reference to Prima instead of Prime 🤪)

Best reef safe sunscreen

The title says it all. Wondering what you all recommend especially to stand up to the salt water and blazing heat in the Bahamas. Thanks!

Edited to add- I do have sun clothing, looking for sunscreen recs for the parts not covered by the clothes.

Drugstore powder melting spray

My daughter has noticed that her Milani Make It Last spray isn’t really melting her powder and makeup together like she would want. She is a teen who works at Culver’s so she doesn’t have a high end budget to buy One Size etc. Is anyone having luck with a drugstore option I could recommend to her?

Do you find a difference buying online vs. in store?

I typically buy my birds in store because I want to make sure the tail feathers aren’t wonky or the fabric isn’t messily glued in a haphazard fashion. The only ones I have ordered online are pride birds of course. I was just wondering if any of you have been unhappy with the quality of the birds you order online because waiting and buying in store is always a gamble but because I have 3 Targets I usually manage to find everyone I’m looking for, just a bit of a hassle.

Ranch dip in Walmart Veggie Trays

Can anyone tell me what kind and brand of ranch is used in the Walmart Marketside veggie trays? I’ve tried so many different kinds and brands searching for that exact flavor but I’m not really a ranch expert. That’s why I’m searching for it because it’s one of the few I like. I don’t think it’s their Great Value house brand but maybe I grabbed the wrong one if it is? Any help is appreciated.

How often descaling?

I have an OL machine that I received at Christmas and only use a couple times a week (some weeks not at all.) Since I use the machine much less frequently than most users how often would I need to descale the machine? Any advice is appreciated.

Sweet Tomatoes

Has anyone been to the new location that has opened up? I’ve seen some posts from before the official opening but I’m wondering if anyone has been in the past weeks and what the wait is like.

Applying cicapair and primer

I have the cicapair color correcting balm and use that occasionally under my foundation. I’m interested in using a primer like Milk hydrogrip (or the ELF equivalent) because going into SW Florida summer I’m facing 100°+ days and serious humidity. I’m just not sure if I apply the primer after the cicapair or before since the cicapair is technically like skincare?

Ingrid Olderock was a brutal DINA secret police agent during Pinochet’s dictatorship in Chile. Known as "The Dog Lady," she committed horrific human rights abuses, including systematic sexual torture on women at the Venda Sexy detention center.

Soft blanket for Sweet 16

I have seen luxury brand blankets like Minky Couture but really can’t afford an expensive one for my teenager. Does anyone know of ones that feel amazingly soft like that which don’t break the bank? My daughter just can’t have enough comfy blankets.

Has anyone seen the patriotic birds in store yet?

Someone posted this picture a week ago now and just wondering if anyone else is checking the stores like I have been with no luck. If you’ve spotted them please let us know where in the country you are! Thx
