After using the Uni, paradise and connection v3 for a year I can say the Uni is the best tamagotchi released
As an adult the connection was way too needy so I always got bad care characters, the paradise feels like a lifeless breeding simulator. The Uni is the ultimate tamagotchi too me, the amount of accessories and rooms are amazing, the tama verse is so fun and the DLC are awesome I’ve already bought 5 of them. I really hope the future of tamagotchi is a Uni 2 that maybe has a touch screen so we can pet our tamas. What do you guys think the next tamagotchi should be?
Baptist preacher who died said our loved ones who died in Christ are waiting for us in Heaven too greet us at the pearly gates ♥️
Am I wrong for warning people about Hell?
I posted on the Christianity sub Reddit a video of a man who had a NDE and Jesus told him people choose hell, he doesn’t send people there. It caused lots of backlash so now I guess I won’t share that anymore and only share the loving part of the Bible. What do you think? I regret even posting it now. It got over 200 comments before I deleted it.
Hero tombstone is amazing now after the recent buff…what do you guys think?
Will my deck even be usable next season with all the nerfs? Should I change decks completely?
iPhone 13 is 4-5 years old now and the charging port wiggles and won’t charge not matter how much I clean it
At this point I guess I’m going to have to get it repaired, how much does it usually cost to fix the charging port? The wireless charging works fine for now but I want the port working again. Apple Store won’t fix it they told me to upgrade but I can’t afford that…
A Christian told me to stop believing in the rapture because it gave him child hood trauma
He’s also said he’s “open and affirming”. I’m guessing this is some weird liberal way of trying to emotionally manipulate me to believe the way he 100% believes ? How do some of these people function in the real world? I can believe what I want if that hurts your feelings for holding a belief that’s crazy…
I need this emote! Supercell plz don’t put it in ranked mode i haven’t reach it yet 😭
Why am I not advancing to the next tier?
I have enough points but I’m stuck on crown?
Reached pro shopper status today and my orders during shopping are better than the regular food orders..?
Is there any way I can do just shop and deliver only?
American Baptist church brainwashing children to normalize and cheer on state violence, chanting 'take him out, blow him up
Yeah I think Ill stick with my “Liberal” denomination even if I don’t agree with everything they believe/teach over whatever this is 😬
I always put pringles in my chicken noodle soup, is that weird?
It’s such a good combo I swear
The early church fathers didn’t not take the Bible super literally like many hard core fundamentalists do
I found this interesting
The Fathers heavily resisted modern fundamentalist readings, which they believed missed the true meaning of the text. Key patristic perspectives include:
The Danger of Mere Literalism: The highly influential Alexandrian school, led by Origen (c. 185–254), argued that interpreting Scripture solely by the "mere letter" leads to falsehood, absurdities, and impious thoughts. Origen maintained that some biblical passages have no literal meaning at all and serve purely as spiritual or moral guides. [1, 2]
The Rule of Faith: The Fathers (such as Irenaeus of Lyon) argued that Scripture cannot be interpreted in isolation or on one's own. The Bible had to be read through the regula fidei (the Rule of Faith), which ensured that local church interpretations aligned directly with the overarching theology taught by the Apostles.
Creation and Metaphor: Early theologians did not read Genesis as a modern science textbook. Augustine of Hippo (354–430) cautioned Christians against using rigid literalism to make absurd claims about the natural world that could contradict reason and bring ridicule upon the faith. He famously read the "days" of creation not as literal 24-hour periods, but as logical or spiritual frameworks.
Literal vs. Spiritual Senses: Instead of the flat fundamentalist approach, the early Church developed schools of exegesis (like those in Alexandria and Antioch) that relied on multiple layers of meaning: the literal, moral, typological (how the Old Testament points to Christ), and allegorical
Basically the mainline denominations not taking everything literally would be closer to what the early church actually thought, compared to a fundamentalist Baptist.
There’s nothing wrong with a Christian believing in evolution or taking Genesis as allegorical vs scientific history
I have to get a real job door dash is ruining my life
Last week I had to spend $600 to fix broken studs and a flat tire and now today I got a nail in my back right tire and the tire blew out, I’m spending more than I’m making and the orders are terrible even on platinum…if I don’t find a job soon I might have a mental breakdown
