We have around 8. Jane, Jay, JJ, Wendy, Viper, Rose, Ada, Vox, and a mute. Vox and the mute are weird, Vox is more like a tool than an alter, its the front we use when we're rapid switching or extremely depersonalized and it's hard to know whose at the front. Mute is a nameless nonverbal entirety that lurks in the cracks, and hides things that need to be forgotten.

They aren't anyways present, often time they're not. Sometimes it's just one or two active, sometimes a whirlwind. What's it like for yall? For those who are over 10, how long has it been like that? And does it get painful or chaotic to have so many parts?

How do yall typically feel about buying expensive clothes? Not like, buying expensive "punk" clothes or luxury fashion pieces. I mean like high quality hand crafted pieces. Things like jeans from Naked and Famous Denim, boots from places like Nicks etc. I'm tired of disposable, low quality fast fashion pieces that will fall apart in a year or so. Id rather just spend 200 dollars on a single pair of pants that will last me a decade than a 50 pair that I'll need to replace in 6 months. Boots are the same way, Docs are shit, Solovair are better, but real high quality work boots will last until I'm dust.

It might also be telling that I've been watching a lot of Rose Anvil lately, and really enjoy the content he makes. The breakdowns, deepdives, collabs. Real good shit, and the blood core leather pieces he's had built all look amazing.

Im 24, both of my partners are in their 20s (24 & 26). It's a running gag that I like gilfs. Well, not so much of a gag, I just don't date outside of my age range. Grandma's be hella hot though. Like Sara Conner from Terminator Dark Fate as a PRIME example.

One day, me and my gf were riding in a car together and a convertable cuts us off. She's like "ugh, this asshole" then they convert the car to open or whatever and it's this rockin old woman with short white hair and aviators on. My gf is like "I wanna be her so bad" and my response? "Would." LMAO I still can't believe myself with that.

Anyways, a few months later, she's hits me with the titular quote. Something akin to "You date like an investor", basically investing in their youth to see what they're like when they're old. And honestly, yeah. Let me live a long happy life with you girl, and when you're a baddy with white hair at least you'll find comfort in that I'll still find you attractive. Sounds nice to me, at least.

So, I've known my best friend (now girlfriend) for 3 years now. As I've known her, she's gotten progressively more goth. She's stunning, genuinely. At one point, she realized that I'm basically a puppy girl waiting to happen. Some positive reinforcement here, some long hikes in the park there, and she ends up getting me to realize that it's sooo true :3 She's talked about liking the taste of blood before, and enjoying leaving hickeys because of that. We start getting closer, cuddling. I ask her to a goth prom, she says yes, 2 months later she asks me to be her girlfriend. I'm realizing how lucky I am. She's amazing in every way, and she tears me up so good. She's as sadistic as I am masochistic. She's from an upper Middle class family, I'm from a lower middle class family (both leftist, both of us hate wealth).

I find it so funny that we're dating now and we complement each other so well. I'm a punk, she's a goth. I'm dog brained, she's a vamp. It's like we're living a Silver X Mina fanfic (if Mina wasnt a bish). She was upset she venting to me earlier about how no one makes blood flavored bubble gum. Like that irony metallic taste blood has (like when you bite your lip too hard). She unironically likes that. Probably an iron deficiency.
