Free agent looking for clan

Former clan was Chicken ZOMG. Not only have I brought the clan to Ruby as its only active member, but I also single-handedly got it to first place each time they go to war.

Honestly, I like a good challenge, but I don't want to solo carry an AFK clan and give it an undeserved rank, so I am now a free agent. Comment if interested

Need help tweaking this trigger

This trigger works when a certain perk is selected. It allows the player to read the enemy allied chat.

The problem is that as it is right now, it will fire with any chat. This means if all chat is used, it could clog the screen.

Is there a condition to filter this? I looked and I dont know which function to look for

Saying that Carmelo Anthony, a kid who went in an opponent's tent, was acting in self defense is another case of journalistic malpractice

Them again, this is the Crap News Network we are talking about here. I only go to CNN if I want to see buffoons try to paint the news in a coat of bullshit.

It's a damn travesty that people are dumb enough to keep you on the air

Lets play "Could they make it if they replaced Tav"

The game is simple: take a character from another IP (gaming or otherwise) and put them in Tav's shoes. Discuss with the community if they could get to end game and watch the credits roll or not.

Rules:

I tagged this as spoilers so nobody has to worry about spoiling anything if they have an argument that could make or break a character.

Combat does not have to be turn based. It is the commenter's choice if it is turn based or real time.

In terms of ammo use, use discretion for the sake of balance. Rule of thumb, things like grenades and rockets should be limited in supply. Ammo for rifles and handguns can be infinite, but the character should still have to stop to reload.

As for magic, the character is governed either by BG3 rules or whatever universe they came from. If it's a magician that uses mana instead of spell slots, either system may to be used, but swapping halfway through isn't allowed.

Any character is allowed provided it's not a no-brainer. Obviously, the entire Galactic Empire will beat the game no problem as it blasts the Netherbrain with the Deathstar. Also, Twinky Winky will probably be unable to even escape the Nautaloid. Obviously, those examples are exaggerations, but you get the point.

Most important rule: have fun, and stay civil!

Edit: I will comment my example

Things you can say that make sense in game but questionable outside of it

This game idea came to me after my last match

Comment with things that would make sense in the context of a HOTS match, but would be confusing and/or inappropriate in our daily lives.

I'll start:

"Oh shit, I forgot I had a nuke"

I'll begin by explaining what the walls are, just to ensure you know what im talking about: before each fort and keep you have two towers that shoot enemies, a gate that only allows that team's units pass, and the walls that allow nobody to pass. Those walls count as a blocker, intercepting skill shots and hindering map vision.

Even though it's an enemy structure, minions and camps won't engage them, and your hero won't attack them without an actual command to do so. This is because it is not necessarily a threat and is sometimes beneficial to keep alive.

For example, one of my go-to healers, Auriel, has a skill shot that knocks an enemy hero back, and said hero is stunned if it hits any map wall. Normally, this means a wall caused by a map blocker (trees, boulders, etc), as well as structures. This means that by destroying these walls, you are destroying a surface that can be used for her to stun.

Alternatively, if the enemy has her on their team (or Diablo since he has a similar skill with that effect), that means enemy walls can be used as stun surfaces, meaning it could be worth it to take a moment to destroy them. Also, since they block skill shots, heroes like Nova might want them destroyed to ensure that the enemy can't hide behind them.

Other times, it might be handy to keep them up for other heroes to destroy them. Tyrande gets cooldown reduction on her heals with her autoattacks, so leaving them up will allow her to use them for faster healing if she is unable to attack the enemy players for whatever reason. Valla can also use a quick autoattack on them if she is chasing someone so that she can refresh the timer on her hatred stacks so she can deal a little extra damage when it counts.

Point being, don't just randomly destroy walls because you don't like them or want to farm a bit of seige damage and then say, "Look, im doing something." Think, then act
