Backrest & straps.

Allowed myself to make a new post since i guess many people are looking for a solution. So i got the backrest today for 200.- bucks.

I then went to transa (a hiking stuff store in switzerland) and came to this idea:
It‘s the start. It‘s not tested, it‘s nod toddler safe till now.

What i‘m further gonna do is attach some back-pack-straps-enlarger attach to the yellow straps. So it will be more comfortable for the toddler.

Also gonna put some swimming noodles around the metal things on the side.

Seat belt for Backrest

Hey guys

We‘re at the stage where our toddler does not want to be in the hamax seat anymore.
We still need and want to use the omnium, so we got a backrest.

Anyone have an idea for a seatbelt? Chatty told me about the one from larry and harry, but i‘m not too sure about that.

how many time did you re-setup? and how did you do it?

i started doing homelab things.

nothing too fancy yet, since i know that we will move into a house in the upcoming 12-24 months, which will be a smarthousisch-home. and that's the moment i'll go "live" while i'm in a testing/learning area at the moment.

but now i'm at the moment:
my strongest server - hosts immich, which, also roasts my server already when uploading a bigger amount of pictures. So i would not like to host jellyfin on this server as well.

so in my opinion: i need to switch immich to the 2nd server, while putting jellyfin on the first server since i'll use jellyfin more, than immich. and i need the power of the first server to transcode and stuff.

so how many times did you re-setup your whole homelab?

And what is your most efficent way to do it?

Not in the Picture:

An old nas with 2tb to start, for backups is on another place;
A Surface Tablet Pro 3, which will be there for Grafana/Prometheus;
A Raspberry Pi 4, which may will do sone Steam Linking stuff.

The M73, is going to be the tester.
Mac, NUC or M700 is also going to be for simple gaming (mainly Guild Wars 1). Depends on perormance and system compatibility.
Then i need to host Immich.
And the last one is going to be for homeassistant.

Am further looking for racks and a suitable solution for a switch.

At the moment the priority is on backuping fotos/pictures from our mobile phones, to get rid off google as good as possible. So immich is going to be on the working list.

Also i wanna have a nvme near the flats exit, whick backups the most important things from immich - but we‘ll see.

Costs: i‘m happy with most of the prices, on the nuc i think i overpaid a bit.

What you guys think?

Indoor adapter for earlyrider?

Hey guys,

My two year old would like to spend time with me when i‘m indoor riding. (At least she says „i also want to ride wtih daddy“)

Does anyone know something like a indoor bike trainer stand for earlyrider bikes?

I watched on etsy but didn‘t find the right thing yet.

Girlfreind bought a jogging front wheel adapter for the thule.

I wasn‘t in the mood to put the trailor on the bike.

So i put the trailer on the bike.

Why did i donit like this? Cause i‘m hella stupid and didn‘t think about the extenderbar.

Why didn‘t i put it the other way around? There is a child seat mount which only takes up to 14-20kg. And i wasn‘t sure about the thules weight.
