Looking for one or more people to go to the Justice DJ Set @ Pacha NYC - September 5th 27F

anyone here planning to go to the Justice DJ set at Pacha NYC on September 5th? I’m thinking of going solo, but it’d be fun to have a few people to meet up with and go together
Amtrak tickets are surprisingly cheap from philly to nyc.
If you’re interested, lmk.

Anyone else from Philly going solo to the Brazil vs. Norway match at MetLife tomorrow?

I’m taking the train up from Philly and already have my return train booked for around 11 PM from NYC. I was thinking it would be fun to grab food or walk around Manhattan for a bit after the match before heading back.
If you’re also going solo and want to hang out after the game, feel free to dm.

Anyone going to Fan Fest today?

Anyone else going to Fan Fest? Looking for some company. If you play badminton or pickleball, that’s a plus we can hit the courts after.

Anyone Else Having Issues Using Chase Visa Cards for FIFA World Cup Tickets

I tried to buy FIFA World Cup tickets on fifa marketplace using both my Chase Sapphire credit card and my Chase debit card multiple times, but every attempt failed. When I contacted customer service, they told me that my debit card had been flagged for fraud. I never received any alert initially, and even after I later received and approved the fraud verification message and they removed the restriction, the transaction still failed when I tried again a few hours later.
What was even stranger was that Chase could see the failed attempts on my debit card, but they couldn’t even see any transaction attempts on my credit card. There were no fraud alerts or notifications, and nothing appeared to go through on their end.
In the end, I had to use my Capital One credit card to buy the tickets because I didn’t want to lose them. I purchased tickets for two different matches, and both times my Capital One card worked without any issues.
I originally wanted to use my Chase Visa cards because Visa is a FIFA partner and I thought there might be some benefits or discounts. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to use Capital One.
This isn’t even the first time something like this has happened. I’ve experienced similar problems with Chase when trying to purchase tickets, book hotels, or make other important purchases. Even after confirming that there were no travel or location restrictions and sometimes after calling customer service to remove fraud blocks, the transactions would still fail.
On the other hand, I’ve never had these problems with Capital One. I don’t receive unnecessary fraud alerts, and even larger purchases go through without any issues. Because of that, I feel like I made a mistake choosing Chase. I pay an annual fee for my Chase credit card, yet I can’t always rely on it when I actually need it. In situations where a purchase is urgent, I find myself having to forget about using Chase and just use my Capital One card instead, because it works every time.
I’m curious whether this is just my experience or if other people have run into similar issues and what is the process behind this if you work in fraud team like does not chase lose money because of this?

(Yes used AI to write this cuz I did not want to type a bible)

Anyone going to the FanFest today? (Solo and looking for company?)

Hello I was supposed to go to the Philly FanFest (fifa) with a friend, but they had to cancel unexpectedly. I’m still planning on going, and since it’ll be my first time there, I thought it’d be nice to have some company.
If anyone else is going solo and is looking for someone to hang out with, feel free to reach out! (27F)

anyone volunteer at or attended the FIFA Fan Fest in Philly?

I’m planning to go next week and was wondering if anyone knows whether a Canon EOS Rebel T7 with the standard 18–55 mm kit lens is allowed to bring? Also, would a regular school/laptop backpack with just the camera inside be permitted, or are they strict about bag sizes?

Looking for any casual walking or travel clubs around Wilmington

Hi! I moved to Wilmington almost a year ago and I’m looking to get out more, meet new people, and try some new hobbies.

I’m mainly interested in:
- casual walking groups (not intense hiking/fitness groups)
- travel groups for local trips or even international travel

I know there are board game/chess meetups around, but these days I’m more interested in outdoor/social activities that are low-pressure and not super athletic. I’m also a bit introverted, so I’d love recommendations for groups that are welcoming and safe for women.

Are there any clubs, Meetup groups, communities, or apps people in Wilmington/Delaware use for this kind of thing?

Would really appreciate recommendations Thanks :)

We just broke up after four years. We met in college. We went to Turkiye together last December. We literally went to DC last week, and today we decided to broke up, and I don't want to even type the whole point of details here I don’t have energy. I don't know how to move on. This is my first real relationship. and this four years, we were literally with each other, like, more than 2.5 years, then we had to move out to different states for our jobs after college, and I think distance played a huge part of this. I can't stop crying, And I don't know what to do. I don’t know how to go to work tomorrow. I dont think I can do this with anyone else ever again
