THE RASPBERRY PROTOCOL

An unexpected visit turned into a spontaneous jam session. The Virus TI is controlled via MIDI by the Circuit Tracks. It was a lot of fun.

●A live jam using the Ableton Move and the Novation Circuit Tracks. The focus here was on creating melodies and melodic rhythms. Performed live and recorded on the fly, it created an atmosphere we could both immerse ourselves in.

●ROOTS-Techno Jam with Ableton Live & and a Modular Synth

It's the first time I’ve used my DAW (Ableton Live 12, in this case) together with my modular synthesizer.

The song is primarily driven by Ableton; the modular synth just plays two percussive synth shots.

Paired with my new mixer, this allows for some brilliant transitions. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it.

Live jam with two Novation Circuits and a small Eurorack modular synth system controlled by a Korg SQ-64.

Hi everyone, this video isn't really aimed at the casual music listener; it’s more of a narrated jam session...sort of a mini-tutorial on how to build a groove using the Mosaik Box.

What you’re hearing here is exactly what you’d hear in your headphones during a live jam.

The Mosaik is a live groove instrument with a unique concept; you really have to dive in to grasp the underlying structure.

In any case, you can see what I’m actually doing right at the start.

Providing commentary for the entire video would have killed my vibe...I just wanted to perform live and enjoy the time spent making music.

I hope some of you got something out of it and really felt the groove.
