Mera interview badhiya gaya tha, seniors ke sath acche se rhta tha, sab shi kiya tha. I know a guy who has <6.5CPI never interacted with his own wingies, total screwup and woh SG bana hai.

Maine aur koi POR nahi liya tha, was only focussed on becoming SG. I have been interacting with ICS as well in my first year. I feel imo I was actually a really good fit for the role.
And what hurts more is when I see the kind of people who have actually been appointed. Mujhe pta hai sb log cope cope bolenge abb, lekin jab mai undeserving hota hu tb i dont hesitate to tell.

Abb koi bhi club activity mai mann nhi lg rha. Bass padhai karke acchi cpi lana hai, pura motivation nikaldia isne.

I’ve heard that second year becomes very hectic, and most people stay back for some duration of summer vacations.
If i dont want to do a summer term, but do want to interview for a couple of 3rd year PORs, will it be possible for me to go home? Just curious.

Even we hated cheaters in our year, but such a massive revolt did not take place in our batch because our cutoffs were decent. Every senior wants to support yall in this movement, but slowly it has become obvious that 90% of you just keep changing the narrative because u didnt get the rank u wanted.
It started with a paper leak, which is complete bs, wont even give the reason to that.
Now it came to mass cheating to justify the high cutoffs, when it happens every single year of jee advanced and 1 person cheating in every 400 people is not ‘mass cheating’ infact its a very conservative number.
Finally, when the director of IITK gave a perfectly reasonable explanation for 80% of the supposed cheating cases, every redditor became a better mathematician and analyst than a fellow of the Royal Society. Do you think he does not know that few people do manage to peek into others computers? Do u know the situation of every person giving the exam? What if he fell sick, what if there was a computer glitch, what if there was near absenteeism? That is what he meant, but nope all of you just wanted to call him stupid cause it didnt support your agenda.

Even I posted a tweet for #CheatingIITR asking IITR to take stricter measures to deregister students who are cheating (this is already done in practice btw, IITs regularly release orders to deregister 100+ students from JoSAA every year). But looking at the direction in which the hashtag was going,I had to delete it.

Most of you seem to be brainwashed here for some reason and looking for anything to justify the high cutoffs, but if u actually want some change you will require the help of older batches as well, and for that my plea to you is look at the whole situation with an open mind.

I distinctly remember we also had around 30-40 confirmed cheating cases from all of the different sites data but we never went into this ‘system change karenge’ ahh revolt (maybe we shouldve lol)

Their maths was easy af, and yet theyre surprised why the cutoffs are high.

Interested in the branch, saw stats of SPO, lot of core openings also, how is the schedule like in 3rd and 4th sem and how is the grading, how easy is it to get cpi?

A business advertised in IITK called CampusCart, by a student in IIT jodhpur, has been scamming students here.
Does anyone want to escalate this legally, or if you were affected in any way?

I am a Btech student at IIT Kanpur and have been hearing a lot about these online bs degrees. Personally i feel it might be undermining the reputation and exclusivity that a top iit like madras holds.

Whenever I am listening to music, and I get a whatsapp call, then after the call is ended, the volume on the music randomly maxes out. This didnt happen with an android phone.

Guys when u go to the fucking shitpot theres a fucking button there which u hold for a few seconds after u r done taking ur fucking shit. Its not that hard, youre done with a shit? Hold the flush for a while and make sure your shit is actually gone?

Fucking not even joking, I’ve seen so much shit in this campus(literally) no matter which building it is, whether it is Btech dominated or Mtech or PhD. And dont get me started on the hostels but atleast you can maintain the academic buildings?
