I notice that nearly all of the posts in this subreddit are Pokémon. I am exclusively a sports cards collector but I’d like to submit my first cards to TAG (once the pause is lifted) but am now wondering if there is a reason for seeing so few sports cards.

I could see a scenario where AI has a hard time grading one type of card or the other. They are quite different in design after all. Is there some sort of consensus regarding this that I am unaware of?

It’s getting to be that time of year… what is a movie/show that you think captures the Fall and/or Halloween vibes well?

I immediately think of Halloween, Hubie Halloween (although I don’t actually like the movie very much), Curse of Bridge Hollow and the Halloween episodes of New Girl, Superstore and The Office.

I’d love to hear any other suggestions!

Currently an ortho rep entering my third year. I believe I’m in the challenging phase of working more than ever and not quite making great money yet.

More and more I’m finding myself daydreaming about changing to another specialty or possibly even industry.

Have any of you experienced a marked lifestyle improvement after switching specialties or careers?

First question, do you wash your face while showering? Or is it part of a separate routine?

Second question, is it necessary to use some sort of scrubber/applicator for a face wash product or am I okay to just use my hands?

I have been playing 5-6 rounds per year for the last decade or so and am yet to break 100. I recognize that I don’t play much, but until this point that’s all the time and money I could justify spending on golf.

I am a large, pretty athletic male but I assume my swing is just horribly dysfunctional.

I would prefer to stay in Spokane, but would be willing to try something in the Liberty Lake/Post Falls/CDA area. Any recommendations appreciated, thanks!

If you haven’t been to the Garland Theater in a while… GO! Especially if you are somebody that really has a passion for going to the movies, you’ll appreciate the experience.

I grew up in Spokane but have really only gone to Village Center/AMC/Regal for the last 20 years or so.

Going to the Garland today was not only fun because of the nostalgia, but also because it is very clear that they care about the movie-going experience and care about their patrons. I definitely won’t be waiting another 20 years to go again!

Anybody else on Raudi? After a solid year at A ball in 2025, he went on to hit .433 in the Arizona Fall League.

This season at AA he’s slashing .304/.416/.518 with 20SB. Not striking out at a concerning rate.

Honestly I’m surprised he’s not in the MLB Top 100. However he’s currently only ranked the #15 prospect in a pretty unimpressive Angels system.

I’m 34, married with kids now but Game Fuel has a special place in my heart because it reminds me of a time right after college when I would stay up all night with friends playing COD MW2. Not a care or real responsibility in the world.

It also seemed to always release in the Fall, so it was always present during Spooky Season (my favorite time of year).

Currently watching the Mariners game and they commented on Colt Emerson intentionally skipping his throw from 3B to 1B. It got me wondering if there was a third baseman ‘know’ for doing that. Or any other interesting little quirks only a dedicated fan might notice.

They have some awesome designs but seemingly mixed reviews. Has anybody had success ordering from them?

I’m approaching my two year mark with one of the major ortho companies. The first 18 months or so were predominantly positive and I would say that I am currently being compensated fairly.

However, I have noticed growing feelings of resentment toward about half of my team. It seems as though a real culture of laziness has set in. Rather than a team, it feels more like a group of people all trying to do as little work as possible by taking advantage of each other.

In talking to some friends that rep other companies, it seems like this type of frustration is normal at this particular point in my career.

In your opinion, are these feelings nothing that a nice raise won’t fix? Or is it worth addressing with my lead/team?

I was so excited to see a Pibb Zero option in my area! I’ve always liked Pibb slightly more than Dr Pepper so I hate to admit this, but I was slightly disappointed the two times I’ve tried it.

I think I need to try a non-zero Pibb, because I theorize I’m still subconsciously comparing it to Pibb Extra.
