His burst of pace is amazing when beating the opponent to run for space. He is also defensively very solid and I would say better than Dumfries in defensive aspect.
One thing people worried about was lack of goals/assists.. though he may not be a goal scorer or provider, I saw several great crosses he made which were just blatantly missed by Spurs players. Maybe in the more offensive system of ours, he will get plenty of assists as well but that only time will tell.
He of course is a late bloomer so I won’t judge him by his early 20s and rather by his recent few seasons and he has been solid especially for England while he struggled a bit for Spurs but hey, who didnt struggle in Spurs.
I am overall very happy with signing and would rather have him for 30M than Palestra for nearly double the price as he is much more proven and comfortable choice.
