I am starting Grade 12 in September and am interested in pursuing optometry.
What are the courses that I can take so I can be eligible to write the OATS exam in the third year of the degree?
I see in the waterloo website theres a BSc degree at Waterloo thats eligible for the optometry course, but what degrees outside of waterloo university would be equally eligible?

Do ECs matter a lot for health related courses? I know someone who got accepted to Health Science in UofT and had not done any ECs. She said it’s the marks that matter.

I start grade 11 in September. I signed up to have my co-op done in the summer ( joined SHSM Health) and haven’t gotten placed yet. I’m stressed out now since coop starts by July first week. My summer coop teacher hasnt sent me anything yet.
Can anyone suggest places I can call up and check if they take students for summer co-op? ( clinics/ doctors office/ diagnostic centers/ healthcare clinics etc) I’m calling up places but haven’t received a positive response so far. Looking for places with a 30-40 min transit commute from the Steeles and Birchmount area . Pleease help!

Lunch and dinner will be sometime in between these visits.
Will this be something that we can do? Some spots just involve taking a few pictures ( wall street/ wild table of love/fearless girl statue etc)

I live in Canada and my parents who are 75 live in Tvm.
They have come and stayed for 6 months. They have a lot of health conditions and since they cannot access medical care here on visit visa they are reluctant to come here now. The maximum number of days of vacation i have is 15 days (at one shot) and my parents say thats too short; dont come for such a short vacation.
Is there any reliable support service for parents like delivering home cooked food?
Can others who are in similar situations help with what they do to handle this?
I am always stressed out and guilt ridden many times.

We moved to a detached house a during the winter (Scarborough, ON) and I have been seeing a couple of mice coming to the backyard and nibbling on the grass? I mowed last night and this morning I see the mice again. I haven’t planted anything in the backyard yet. Almost every time I open the patio door I can see mice scurrying out to the fence. Please help!
