I’m flying with Emirates and want to take an iMac in its original box as hand luggage.
The boxed dimensions are 55 × 55 × 17 cm.
Has anyone done this before? Will Emirates allow it in the cabin, or will I have to check it in?
I’m looking to install a parking shade for 2 cars at my villa in Ajman.
I’ve been getting quotes between AED 6,000 and 8,000, which seems quite expensive for a basic shade. Is that the normal price these days, or am I being overquoted?
If anyone has recently had one installed, I’d really appreciate any recommendations for reliable companies or fabricators in Ajman or Sharjah that offer reasonable prices.
I own a house in Bahria Town Karachi that I rented out for the last 3 years. The tenant has been difficult throughout, so I gave him a 3-month notice to vacate (even though 1 month was enough).
He has now moved out but is refusing to hand over the keys unless I return his security deposit first. I told him I’ll inspect the property before releasing the deposit because there’s visible damage to the kitchen and bathrooms.
Now he’s threatening to get a stay order against my property if I don’t pay him immediately.
Can he actually get a stay order in this situation? What are my options if he tries?

I’m thinking of buying a Y62 Patrol V6 from a friend. It has 60,000 km, is agency serviced, and I know the car’s history.
I just have a few questions for current owners:
Is the gearbox jerking issue actually common?
Are heating/overheating issues something to worry about on the V6?
Does the V6 feel underpowered, especially for highway driving and overtaking?
I don’t drive much mostly weekend trips and the occasional drive to Oman or Saudi Arabia, so I don’t need crazy performance.
Overall, would you recommend the V6? Any common issues I should check before buying?
