Selling ideas

I have a range of innovative ideas for in demand problems. I’ve drawn up the solutions. I just don’t have time to manufacture them.

If I get a pre patent and then pitch to companies provided they sign a nda to sell my idea for a 2% royalty then repeat with the other two ideas I have/ is that a legitimate business?

My ideas are to do with sleep.

Toilet training

FTM. My daughter is 2 years and 2 months old.

Shes very interested in the toilet. Super fascinated at everyone going to the toilet. She has a toy dollhouse with a toilet that she is obsessed with. My sister in law even gave us a toilet training seat they don’t need. My daughter is so excited by it and often asks to go sit on the toilet to “do a poo”. She never actually does anything on the toilet it’s more of a game or novelty so I’ve hidden the toilet seat for now since I don’t want her to think it’s a game but I also don’t want to squash her interest.

I don’t actually know when to start, if she’s ready or how.

Right now if she has a shower with me she will usually do a shower wee (lovely) and tell me as she’s doing the wee she’s doing a wee.

She will most of the time tell me she’s done a poo - the other times she will ask me to leave her alone or go and hide somewhere and do a poo.

She’s started to pull her pants down when we get changed and try to pull them up.

What do I do?
How do I know she’s ready?
How do I start?
Is it too early?

I don’t want to rush her but I’m also worried- I was late to using the toilet (4 nearly 5) I don’t want her to be like that but I also don’t want to push her.

I’m currently on maternity leave and have a 12 week old at home. I’m home until Jan so this could be a good time to start if she’s ready but I don’t actually know if she is!

Please help.

My daughter is about to turn two. Next week actually.

She’s always been a good sleeper. She’s always been pretty chill. She’s always been pretty securely attached to me and my husband. If I’m busy she will happily go to my husband and vise versa. There’s never been a parental preference until recently.

The last month of my pregnancy I was in hospital so my husband was her main carer. I had my baby two and a half weeks ago. He was prem. He has only been home with us for 8 days.

Since his come home my daughter is waking up multiple times a night randomly, asking my husband for sleepovers, not sleeping and having regular tantrums multiple times a day. Not sure what over.

When one of us is tending to the baby we make sure the other gives our daughter a lot of attention. We make this our 1:1 time with her and once baby is settled we do things as a family.

We have managed to maintain her routine, continue to praise her, tell her we love her and get her involved with helping to care for her new brother. She gets excited when she can help.

We don’t know what else to do. We find she’s so tired from not sleeping it’s making her more emotional and then she’s too emotional to sleep.

My husband will sleep in her room with her whenever she wants right now to try to make her calm. Last night she had a tantrum at 3am that lasted over an hour because she wanted my husband to sleep in her room which he did.

We don’t know what to do. I don’t know if it’s from having my newborn home but that’s when this all started.

They tag team to. Once she is settled at night and asleep half an hour later my newborn will start and then it repeats.

What the hell do we do!!!

This is my 2nd baby. My 1st was textbook easy. I don’t know what I’m doing with this little guy.

He is 16 days old - he was born at 34+5 weeks and would be now 37+3 so technically should still be baking.

He sleeps 4 hours during the day but is awake all bloody night. He will feed during the day with his eyes closed but at night it’s all systems go wide awake. It’s killing me. I have a two year old I need to look after as well.

Would waking him at 3-3.5 hours during the day and doing tummy time help? He already naps in the lounge during the day in full brightness with my noisy toddler. We also go for a walk daily and spent about an hour of outside time a day.

I don’t know what to do.
