Should contract marriage be a legal option alongside traditional marriage?

Right now marriage has only one format — open-ended, no fixed terms, same rules for everyone. But not everyone wants the same thing.
Some people want traditional marriage. That's fine. It works for them.
Other people may want a marriage with clear terms — set duration, clear rules on money, renewable after some years. Right now, this option doesn't really exist legally. People either go the traditional route or avoid marriage completely.
Why give both options:
- People pick what actually suits them, not what's forced on them
- Less mismatched expectations later
- More people may choose to commit, if the option fits their life better
This isn't about removing traditional marriage. It's about adding a second legal option next to it.
Some countries already allow fixed-term or renewable marriage contracts. Prenups are a small step in this direction too.
What do you all think? Should contract marriage be a real legal choice next to traditional marriage?
