Gto 2026 was one of the coziest watches of 2026. It nicely took today's themes that students struggle with and gave it a nice GTO spin.

Watching 1998 and 2026 back to back and seeing onizuka age, was sad in a way, but also felt like they did the characters right and was nice to see his ex students (sad we didnt see any of the female ex students)

Also, kashibawara sensei actor was a great cast (beautiful, classy, smart) if they wanted a sequel or a female GTO, she is the right one!

I am leaving country for a month. I will leave my Mazda in my garage. Is it okay to leave it without moving it or touching it for a month? Or best to disconnect battery? Or have someone drive it 10 min per week?

I am in episode 3 so far. Having just finished gto 1998 and revival!

I am liking it so far and in some parts more than 1998. I feel like i will be the only one, but this mature, out of place, different times onizuka is more comfort show than I expected. The contrast of also having robotic students fall off like domino's and become converted as you see it slowly in class is also endearing.

GTO 1998 will remain the OG. But this one to me is very relaxing show so far.

I hope they make another season, its always good to see student problems and ways to encourage kids to get out of their funk

I need help figuring if this is calf dvt?

1 week ago I was on a lime bike and fell on concrete. My knee was bruised and leg cramped and I limped home. I went urgent care and they did some exercises and told me my leg is fine no need for xray.

2 days later am able to walk 10k steps but my leg absolutely refuses to run, my calf is locked up the minute I try to jog.

Yesterday during sleep, I feel pin point needle pain in center of calf. This pain comes when I am resting, if I am moving no pain.

I dont know why it felt like something is stuck and causing my calf to be super tender and locked.

I also dont know why my mind suspected clot, except the pain is really intense while resting.

I have to travel for 1 - 2 months on a trip and can't take my cats. I love my cats and would like to provide them the best options

Here is my 3 choices

1. Drop in visits for 1-2 months daily - 60 min.

Pros: Cats stay in home

Cons: Cats are messy and they will eventually have vomit here, poop there. Accidents happen despite 90% of time they are fine. They are healthy cats (5 years old) but still occassional cat accident

2. Rover sitter with 2 cats of her own, but a very big house

Pros: Ok with long term boarding, big house, cat have huge room

Cons: 2 cats of owner

3. Rover sitter with 600 sqft studio

Pros: No cats, married couple

Cons: Cost, small apartment e.g. 1b1b (basically no place to put cats if they are noisy)

Tbh i am not sure what is my best option here and if there is anything i havent thought of?

On march 28th i fell and had avulsion fracture 5th metatarsal. I went for xray at multiple points e.g. 4 weeks and 12 weeks. xray showed some healing but the gap was still there on xray, but dr assured me i am healing and it is fine and i can resume activities.

Now i am 4 months in. My feeling is the same pain wise and i feel no difference from week 3 to now. Meaning, i get light pain when i am walking, kinda like a constant 2/10 irritation? where if my mind is off my foot i won't notice, but definitely irritation is there. Also the feeling is coming from the top of the bone rather than feeling it as i step on the foot ( if that make sense )

About myself

I don't smoke, 36M, vitamin d levels is > 50, i workout + take daily protein and calcium

Is this sign that it won't heal? When i firmly press on the bone by hand i feel nothing, but its when i move or twist my leg that irritation happens

If i have constant mild irritation when i move, is it acceptable to live with this?

What can i do here if doctor was convinced i am fine, even if xray didn't show union at 12 weeks?

I recently had a leak in my guest bathroom in my living area, so the existing LVP flooring needs to be replaced.

The problem is that I can’t find the same color, and the old flooring matched the LVP in my living room.

The bathroom is pretty small about 5×6 feet. My other bathrooms currently have 12×12 tiles, but I’m considering using 12×24 tiles in this bathroom for a more updated look or what would u think?

Would you recommend going with tile or installing a different style of LVP, even though it won’t match the living room?

If I choose tile, how much does the material matter for a small bathroom porcelain versus ceramic, for example? Are 12×24 tiles too large for a 5×6 room, especially when accounting for cuts and layout?

I’m currently looking at using Home Depot for the materials and installation. Are their installation services generally reliable for a small bathroom project, or would I be better off hiring an independent flooring or tile installer?

Any advice on materials, tile size, waterproofing, installation, or things I should watch out for would be appreciated.

I am planning to visit japan in july - 7th to august 7th. This is my 5th trip, i have never been to hokkaido. My plan is to land in tokyo, make my way up to hokkaido and back by plane for last few days.

3 questions

1. Is 3 weeks enough for sapporo / hokkaido to get an idea of the region?

2. Any festivals that are within my dates that i can't miss?

3. Is the weather better than tokyo or prepare for humidity and heat too?

Let me start and say i have about 10 kindles (dont ask why lol)

My last models are pw12, kindle scribe 2025, basic and now colorsoft.

Paperwhite SE12 experience:

Since last year, i was having this weird feeling that the screen contrast is so good, that it is actually a negative not a positive.

What i mean is, when light lands on screen (from any source inside my house) i feel it is too reflective and gets in the way of me reading, so i actively lower light. But also that squeaky clean screen for some reason actually ended up distracting me from the words. It feels like regular book pages themselves are not that high of a contrast, like paper is grainy and that slippery looking screen texture was a miss for me

Basic experience:

I love it, its my absolute favorite, however sometimes i need a little bit of screen estate, and actually overtime i realized for reading i enjoy cooler tones than warmer tones.

Kindle scribe 2025:

Amazing all rounder device, super fast, the screen is great and actually slightly mutes light so not as distracting as paperwhite for me. I enjoy it for 30 min reading sessions, any longer either i have to put it down or change orientation

Colorsoft:

Now this was a surprise! The muted screen/dark/grainy screen actually FOR ME does wonders. I don't know if its because i only had it for a day, but i am definitely more focus reading, the screen is "not clear/clean" which somehow makes my brain focus on the words. Its reflective in sunlight but not by much as its dark, so it gets it to a good reading level! and this device being a jack of all trades (master of none) makes it the go to if u r having a good reading day (60% of time) and if u need larger or smaller i lean on the other two. I also didn't get any headaches from the screen like others warned and at low light levels, screen contrast is NOT that bad, assuming u dont hold any device next to it lol

I think my ranking of devices now is basic = scribe > colorsoft > pwse12 and thats not a ranking i would have expected!

Hey folks,

I need some help. I am replacing my bathroom flooring (5x6) bathroom that has toilet and sink only.

My living room is laminate LVP and so was guest bathroom. I wanted to change up the bathroom to a light tone color, maybe a light beige ( see picture with rug)

I ideally wanted a similar color with same or less busy patterns.

I am unfortunately struggling to find that same color / even simple patterns. Closest i found was the redish beige in the third picture.

Question:

1. Should i go with 12x12? or 12x24 or 24x24 for that small bathroom?

2. Anyone able to help me find a light color selection for 12x12 thats not too busy? and light beige and can work against any living room type? (Mine is mixed light/dark camel wood like flooring ( i checked lowes and home depot)

3. Porcelain vs ceramic? i was thinking ceramic for such small bathroom

I am in week 8 in my 5th metatersal avulsion fracture. Yesterday I somehow ended doing 12k steps dealing with water leak.

For past few weeks I was doing 3 to 5k steps a day.

Today all day I am feeling a stretching feeling in the bone when am resting. Like something is trying to separate the fracture, a tug feeling, thats all I can describe.

I thought by week 8 I should be pain / discomfort free?

I have been relying on my hoka bondi 9 since week 3.

Am I screwing my healing? When should I expect to feel fully normal? 3 months? Should I slow down to 5k steps per day? And when does healing stop?
