I have heard that I could be owed one month salary for each year my company has not paid my social insurance. I know for a fact that the agency I'm working for has not paid a dime. It sounds like I can resign immediately because of this as it violates labor law. Just seems too good to be true. I am already back home in England and don't plan to return for the upcoming year. I figure if I am going to resign regardless I might as well try to do this as they were awful to some of my coworkers with illegal penalties and threats

Has anyone gone through this or know someone who has?

We have both been living overseas for over a decade. When we come back to visit, we are always shocked by the prices. However, we have the opportunity to move back and we have found jobs that would pay us both $25 per hour full-time with benefits. My mom would let us stay with her as long as we want, so we might do that for the first 3-6 months

We are wondering what life would be like on the salary? We are both pretty frugal in our day-to-day life and don't spend too much money apart from groceries for food. I also have a car that is paid off.

We also have a combined savings of almost $300k. I worked very hard to secure that savings though over the past 15 years and I'm just worried that it will quickly diminish

I'm coming to the end of a three-year contract, which includes five days of paid sick leave. I've never missed a day and want to take advantage of two of these sick days. It doesn't stay in the contract whether or not I need a doctors note, but I think it's best to get one anyway.

What's the easiest way for me to get a doctors note without needing to do some kind of blood or other test? Just say I have a migraine?

I thought it was Scott Eastwood but it's not. From what I remember, he is in Southeast Asia and something happens where he is accused of either drugs or raping someone and he has to find a way to escape the country while police chase him. If I remember right, this actress, father is famous and is known as being kind of a tough guy. But that's all I can remember right now. It was a low budget movie and didn't have any famous actors in it.

Anyone else? She's only been with the company a month and works in deli. Wonder if it is a company wide change

i had a moment years ago outside of a grocery store, i was with my girlfriend at the time and i told her, i think that guy loading bags in his truck is my dad...she was all excited and said lets go up to him i was like no its been over 7yrs last time we spoke, she convinced me and we went over and my dad looked like he saw a ghost and didnt know where to hide, he said hi and said how are you son i said ok, i helped him with the rest of his groceries i introduced him to my girlfriend and wow was that awkward, he got into his truck i said goodbye but when when he was driving away he said "you have a beautiful girlfriend and you look great son, im sorry" and drove away...i walked away, but when i looked over to my girlfriend she was crying like a baby, i told her its ok an she said no its not...

We are moving back to America and my wife will return to her job at Bucees. I am coming back later and do not have a job lined up so we are wondering if my wife should add me to her Bucees health insurance plan. I'm just worried about how much it will take from her salary.

We have been living overseas for many years and my wife will be returning a month before me and has already found a job. I will not be back until a month or two later and I do not have a job lined up. My wife found a job at Buc-ees (where she previously worked) and she has the option to add me to her insurance. I'm just worried it'll take a huge chunk of her salary out. How can I find out how much is being deducted and do you guys think it's best for me to just be added to hers?
