I'm sure everyone must have at least read fanfiction of Worm and Ward or several who had read Worm-The Parahuman series by Wildbow. Tell me, have you guys ever read superhero stories that takes inspiration from Worm? Tell me about these novels and I want to read them. I have been craving for good superhero stories. It can be science fiction or fantasy stories
Hi, I am working on a novel of my own. It follows a young man set in an Urban Fantasy type of story where magic towers appear out of the ground, releasing mana and magical monsters into the world. This brought about a lot of both good and bad changes to the humans. Monsters to fight and kill but mana to reinforce the body.
My protagonist wound up obtaining one of these Towers and became it's owner, letting him managing an army and developing the Tower however he deems fit. What features would you guys like to see?
Also, how popular is this kind of story? Are there demands for it as well? Heck, are stories like these still popular? There's obviously more to the story, I also want to make it about balancing the monster within and humanity. The protagonist is a very insecure man who craves power as much as he desires to protect his loved ones.
I can't say when I am posting due to a combination of real life issues and my novel is just starting.
I am a newcomer, I played the game sparingly and relied mostly on the exceptional powers of the rare and special characters to kick ass and steam roll everything. I am having a hard time getting past Canto 4-48. Anyone has any tips or advice?
Woe is to Lilith and Lucifer. Woe to the rebellious dreamers.
You guys read any Manhwa? Comic books or mangas or whatever. What you guys been reading so far? The stuff I'm reading are Solo Leveling, Hardcore Leveling Warrior, Ordeal, Badborn Blood, The Eternally Regressing Knight, Absolute Regression and a couple others.
I'm focusing on my university work but I also trying to talk to women at my university. You guys got any stories to share about your attempts at finding romance? Just asking. I obviously gagal at every aksi. Sorang dia main solo leveling lol.
Anyone who had read K6BD, the various lore drops, excerpts and other materials tied to the story, what lies did you guys think the Seven Part-Lords made when espousing their legends to others? What tale they have spun in favour of the image of an infallible god-king that can tear planets apart.
To everyone who read K6BD, tell me how would your character function and act in the world of K6BD and it's unique rules of physics. How would Goku or Monkey D.Luffy or Kratos or any character you can think of function in this dangerous and fantastic world.
I have a craving for monster focused books and stories. I want to know fi anybody here has any solid recommendations.
The book must be about Kaiju, protagonist with Kaiju No.8 style power or Venom-wearing an organism as a weapon and partner. I've read books like The Hundred Reigns, Blood and Fear, first five chapters, Chum and a couple others.
Secondly, any advice for a guy who wish to upload some books on Royal Road or Novelpedia? I have stockpiled up some considerable books.
The story's idea is an urban fantasy where human race sees emergence of Towers-massive structrues that spawn monsters and release mana into the world-and humans with mana powers dubbed Slayers and Ascended fight against them. The protagonist earned a Tower and became it's Lord, which shocked him and as he descends deeper into sovereignty, he learn more about the truth of the world.
Will this attract people's attention? I have been writing for seven years now and I decide to write my own novel. How many books should I stockpile on for the story? I plan for a trilogy. Would that be enough? Each book is around 400-600 pages. Give or take.
If the Ogre Poppenang Studio ever desire to branch out like making an Exalted series, which character or splat book or faction or whatever you call, who you want them to focus on and why? Which signature character or faction do you want them to write and portray about? ANyone or anything and why?
The shark man vs the unbeatable zombie
Got lazy so I decided to copy and paste. Tell me what you think? Who wins? The goated soldier or the loyal brain-dead warrior?
I am a 24M local Chinese fellow studying at TARUMT for a degree. Due to my own incompetence and the general chinese population attitude ( but still the blame lies in me majorly), I was unable to find any actual friend for future group assignment.
Now I am facing the heavy possibility of needing to do all group assignment by myself. I would like some advice and words of mouth as proof, can I do five or potentially six different group assignments by myself. Each group assignment needs 4-5 members. Two out of six subjects is confirmed to have the creation of a website as it's major focus on what to do and make.
I am also generally a lazy bum so I would like to know what did you specifically do to not be lazy or curb your worst behavior?
Anything can do.
Good day to everyone here, I am writing on this brand new website called Novelpedia, and I wish to promote my fanfiction if that's okay.
Introducing Beast Leveling, a solo leveling crossover story with my hero academia where the protagonist gets a very, very different powerset. In the meantime, come check out this growing website. You can find fanfictions and post fanfictions. It's more friendly to struggling artist compared to Royal Road as well so anyone here who wish to monetize their writings someday can come on down and post here.
