Wall art sellers who use Printify - what is the best option for printing wall art and why?

Right now I sell digital wall art but would like to start selling physical wall art.

I'm curious if anyone would be open to sharing which option on Printify you prefer and why. What options get the best reviews and rating from customers?

Both of these options look like they might be popular?

I need to order samples, so I'm trying to narrow it down.

Thank you so much!

Question about A/B testing

Hi! I'm wanting to essentially A/B test my bestseller. Right now I have 215 listings and one bestseller. (I sell digital wall art.)

I'm wanting to list my bestseller as a physical item as well, to see how it performs.

Obviously the best way to A/B test is to change one variable only, so you can properly attribute the differences to the one variable that was changed.

My question is... if I copy my bestseller and list it with all the exact same keywords, title, everything (minus maybe one or two keyword changes to remove "printable" or "digital download")... will the algorithm then start suppressing my original listing of my bestseller that's the digital download?

Obviously the last thing I want to do is mess up the algorithm for my only bestseller. 🥲

But I think if it performs well as a digital download, it would probably perform well as a physical print too.

Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? Thank you so much in advance!

Do both parties need to reside in the US to be able to file a small claims case?

I'm wanting to file a small claims case, but the offending party is located in another country. Does anyone know if it's still possible to file a claim? I tried calling my local courthouse several times, but apparently no one is available to answer my question, and I'm on a bit of a time crunch.

Adding some additional context, in case it's helpful to better understand the situation: The reason I want to file a small claims case is because I am an Etsy seller who sells digital wall art. My bestseller (100% original artwork) was recently stolen by someone on the platform. They are now selling my original artwork and claiming it is their own.

I informed Etsy of the IP infringement, and Etsy initially took down the listings, but the offending party had the audacity to file a "counter notice," essentially claiming it is not copyright infringement. (It is 100% copyright infringement and my original artwork, no doubt about it.)

Etsy sent me the following email: "On May 5, 2026 you provided Etsy with notice of alleged copyright infringement. We're notifying you that Etsy received the following counter notice, as set forth by the DMCA and our Intellectual Property Policy.

Unless you notify us of a court action seeking a court order against the allegedly infringing member, the member may reactivate or repost the material specified in the counter notice in 10 business days, on May 19, 2026. Since Etsy is a venue, we’re not in a position to make legal determinations on infringement allegations or take sides in these matters."

I tried to file a claim through the Copyright Claims Board, but I am not able to do so because both parties are not located in the United States.

I was hoping maybe I could file a claim with the small claims court in my county. The end goal is not to collect money from the offending party. It is to be able to notify Etsy that I have filed "a court action seeking a court order against the allegedly infringing member," in the hopes that this will meet the requirements Etsy set forth, and they will remove the copycat listings.

Thank you!

So I recently discovered that my bestseller, which is 100% original artwork, has been ripped off by 3 different people on Etsy (and someone Amazon and someone on Mercado Libre).

For the listings on Etsy, I submitted an IP infringement claim. They took down the listings, so that's a relief, for now.

One of the people whose listings were removed submitted a counterclaim. (The audacity to do this when you knowingly stole someone's artwork absolutely blows my mind. 🙄)

Etsy states "Unless you notify us of a court action seeking a court order against the allegedly infringing member, the member may reactivate or repost the material specified in the counter notice in 10 business days, on May 19, 2026. Since Etsy is a venue, we’re not in a position to make legal determinations on infringement allegations or take sides in these matters."

I am a super small business. Just started less than a year ago. Haven't made a single penny when I factor in start-up costs. So obviously I'm not going to take this person to court. Unless I can find a lawyer who would do it pro bono.

I guess, in that case, my next best option is to send the person a cease and desist?

I assume a cease and desist doesn't count as a "court action seeking a court order"?

Has anyone ever sent a cease and desist to someone who stole your intellectual property on Etsy? How did that go?

Has anyone ever blasted someone who is clearly just ripping off bestsellers here on Reddit to see if enough people can find their stolen work and report them? How did that go?

Would love any practical advice on the next best steps I can take here. Thank you so much.

I just came across a listing that is exactly my bestselling design but just with the colors changed. It is 100% my original work, no doubt about it. Do I contact them directly first or report them to Etsy right away?

I'm so nervous that if I contact them directly, and they purchased my listing (it's a digital download) that they'll try to retaliate and leave me a 1-star review or something. 😅

Obviously I read this article (https://www.etsy.com/seller-handbook/article/45201391727?ref=handbook), but I'm just wondering what people have to say about the situation from real world experience.

When I click "report this listing," this is what I get (screenshot attached).

When I go to "Register for the Etsy Reporting Portal," it asks me to put in a company address. If I don't have one, do I just put my own?

When I go to "Add an intellectual property," it asks: "is the copyright registered?" Do I say yes or no? Does having my copyright description in the caption count as having it registered? Help!

I have always used the technique of using the filter gallery or stylize functions to turn photographs into oil paintings/paintings in Photoshop.

I recently realized there is a new feature called "parametric filters." In the section of parametric filters, there is an oil painting filter. It's so useful. However, I'm afraid it uses AI. Does anyone know?

Thank you so much in advance!

I noticed yesterday when I was looking at a physical product listing that when I clicked on the drop down menu there were sizes but also they were offering the product as a digital download. So it looked something like:

Digital Download ($8)
8x10 ($20)
11x14 ($25)

Etc.

Is this a new feature by Etsy? Are instant downloads available for the customer this way, or are the sellers then going in and manually sending them a Google drive link, so they can access the digital download?

I would also love to hear if anyone has thoughts on the pros and cons of doing this/offering an item (wall art, let's say) both as a digital file and a physical product.

Thank you! 🙂
