Hey Doughfam,

I have yet to see Napa Boys (I know, the Reddit is bad again) but will be flying for work the next two weeks. As such I intend to buy it digitally and watch on my flight(s). However, before I do I need to know: is there any nudity contained within the masterpiece of cinema? I’m fine with naughty words since I’ll have a headset on, but just trying to be considerate to those around me. Thanks!

He’s a trash ass general manager and he’s always been a trash general manager.

This is year seven of his rebuild and the team flat out sucks. The few slam dunks like O’Hearn and Lowe are the outliers. Instead we have money wasted on people like Ozuna and Soto. Which hey, I was told Ozuna would heat up as the year went on. Instead the guy being paid $12 million a year to ONLY HIT is hovering near .200 as we near July. Horrendous.

His asset management is horrendous. To start his last rebuild, he took a team with decent pieces, tore it down and attained a net negative WAR from the pieces.

You look at this team as constructed and there’s no depth. The help in the minors is non-existent. Why? Because of bad trades, bad drafts and worse resource management. Being handcuffed by resources and finances doesn’t hold water when lesser resources teams like the Rays routinely succeed.

Speaking of management, his choice of Don Kelly is not only looking worse and worse, but lazy. He settled for the person inside the room instead of doing any searching. Settled for winning PR over winning games. And now the Pirates sit in the shit, a sty of their own making because the head guy didn’t vet at all.

Fuck Ben Cherington. Just another loser we have to endure.
