I usually play without mods, but Weather 3.8 and Better Raindrops is a really great combo if you like proper rainy/thunder weather. Sorry for the low fps; gaming and recording on a mac m1 is quite a challenge :)
Three years ago, SCS introduced awesome new skyboxes, but ruined the overcast weather. Currently, most of the time it just rains we have simple sunshowers and even during thunderstorms there are barely any clouds. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future. Until then, two mods can help:
I’m not a trucker IRL, so I don’t know if this behaviour is intended or not. Lately (I think since 1.59), my engine brake has been behaving as it does in the video: sometimes it keeps switching between the same two gears in a loop. The engine is not damaged, and I’m using a Volvo D13 500 TC with an I-Shift AT2612G.
Could someone please explain what is happening?
I lost the match 1-3 (Pro 3 difficulty). The crazy bastard served 32 aces, and I made too many unforced errors :)
I couldn't get used to the default combo buttons, so I simplified things by creating my own setup where each function has its own button. This has had a huge impact on my gameplay, making the controls easier and more fluid. I also published it on the Steam guide. Screenshots for Playstation and Xbox style glyphs. Is it normal that there is such a huge colour and presentation difference when playing against the sun? I know there is option to force the sun in the back but it feels weird to play that way all the time. My main issue is that sometimes is incredibly hard to see the ball when against the sun, especially when there are shadows on court. I can't find proper exposure values either, so if someone have any tips please share them.
I know that scripting is somehow necessary in a game to keep players engaged, and to be honest, I don’t mind if the CPU suddenly starts playing better because that can happen in real life, sometimes weaker teams can win against stronger ones.
But you can just smell when the script has decided you are going to lose, by heavily handicapping your players with artificial input lag, simple passes suddenly take way too long to execute, and every rebound goes to the CPU, your shielding won't work and ref is clearly bribed and so on.
From what I’ve read here and on Evoweb, PES 2013 and 2017 are fairer in this respect. What are your experiences? I love the slow gameplay of 2021, but sometimes it feels impossible to win, even though I try to adapt my tactics and playstyle during matches. Worth mentioning that I'm not the best player, I play on Professional, I try to improve in training mode, PA on 1 because full manual is to hardcore for me.

Stuttering and fps drops on video is because OBS recording, without is way more smooth. I locked the game to 30 fps because i wanted to play in ultrawide, you easily get 60 fps with 1920x1080.
Resolution 3440x1440 downscaled via ingame scaling option (3/4 x0.750) to around 2560x1080.
Most graphic settings on High except advanced where i turned them all to off. AA is set to FXAA because MSAA is not working correctly on dxmt for me.
It's a shame that there isn't an official port, because even the oldest M1 can handle it without any problems.
I have adjusted the settings of my O4A preset that I shared some time ago to make it more visually appealing. The settings are at the end :)
I see the notifications and swipe them off. I then check the Notification Centre to see if they have been cleared from the app (and the app itself). So far, so good. Hours later or the next day, the same notifications appear again out of nowhere. I don't have Scheduled Summary turned on. I have tweaked the notification settings for each app and in the global settings, but nothing works. What am I missing? I never had these issues when I was using Android. iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 26.5
The only thing you need is the game itself, either ETS2 or ATS. It's that simple. No mods were used to create those screenshots because the game looks great without any paid mods. And these aren't even the highest graphics settings (no SSAO and some things set to medium).
I'm wondering if there are certain situations where using a particular tone works better than others. For example, “Dynamic” works well for me when there are a lot of artificial light sources. Of course, I'm trying to experiment with it myself, but I'd appreciate any tips :)

I play on Professional. Please don't laugh, I've always been quite bad at football games, but this difficulty strikes the perfect balance between fun and challenge for me. I have watched hours of tutorials and spent even more hours in training mode, but there are a few things I struggle with in gameplay:
1. Shots towards the goal: almost all of them are blocked by the defender. Shots that are going to go away from the goal are never blocked. How does the AI know the shot will miss the moment I press the button, yet doesn't even bother to block it?
2. Shielding: The AI can shield 3–4 of my players, but I can’t shield against one. The AI always takes the ball from me from behind.
3. Dribbling skills: I can’t get past the AI; they instantly know which way I want to go and take the ball.
4. Rebounds: They never come to my players; the rebounds go straight to the AI.
5. Tackle recovery: When the AI bumps into me, my players stumble for two seconds, whereas the AI recovers instantly.
6. Referee: He's clearly been bribed. All fouls are given to the AI. I've watched replays where my player clearly hit the ball first, but the ref still called a foul against me.
I know this game is heavily scripted, but sometimes I feel like there's nothing I can do in certain matches. I try to adapt and change my tactics. I don't sprint all the time and my team spirit is 90+ and my players are suited to my gameplay style, yet in some matches my players can't pass, they suddenly slow and won't defend anything.
Please could you give me some tips so I can improve in areas I struggle with?

Thank you all for the tips. Unfortunately, I was sacked at the end of my second season with Borussia Dortmund. I lost the CL quarter-final to Bayern and couldn’t do anything in the second leg; passes and rebounds went straight to the AI all the time. I've taken a job at Celtic and I'm going to try to use all the tips posted here 😄
After years of waiting, Crunchyroll has finally launched in Poland. The result? AI-translated subtitles and a ton of technical issues, such as wrong subs synchro, font size issues and wrong subtitles from different episodes. In the series Mob Psycho, for example, the main character’s nickname is “Mob”, which was sometimes translated as “crowd/tłum” in Polish so translation of a phrase "Come back! Mob!" goes like this: "Wracajcie! Tłumie!". You must be crazy if you expect people to pay for such poor quality.
My API key has been revoked, sideloaded for the past three years. The official app is an unusable, unintuitive mess, I'd rather stop reading Reddit on my mobile than use it. I'm going to try alternatives, but I wonder how safe Hydra and Artemis are. Won't Reddit purge them one day since they don't use the API? Thanks to everyone for all the tips on using the sideloaded Apollo app over the past three years!
I swear to god, when I use the R1+through ball or pass in PES 2021, it feels a little faster and more precise. There's no mention of this type of pass in the game or anywhere else.
I love mood portrait mode, but smaller objects sometimes come out blurry, regardless of ƒ-stop value. It's possible that my hand movements are causing this, as I don't have a tripod. You can see this in the attached photos (iPhone 13 Pro, telephoto lens, ƒ5.6). I know that programming this mode is a lot of work and time, so if it's just a limitation of the third-party apps, that's fine. Any advice would be appreciated 😄
I finally managed to take some photos of swans in the nearby park. They are very protective of their offspring and hiss at you if you get too close. Beautiful creatures.

I kept putting off testing this map because I was convinced it was a small project that would only take a few minutes to drive through and oh boy I was wrong. The level of detail and quality is excellent, and the roads are varied, ranging from highways to mountain routes that require concentration. The optimization is definitely a downside, but that’s hardly surprising, the cities are packed with objects, especially the capital city of Utopia. I highly recommend it :)
