What programming languages do the big trading firms expect you to be comfortable in?
Java, C++, C#?
Or does the languages not matter?

Does anyone find it easier and more comfortable playing electric guitar in classical position?
I'm just starting and feel it's much easier to hit the frets and I also slouch less.
I also can actually get all the notes in a barre chord to consistently ring out.
Hey everyone, as someone who isn't in the military but Is Australian,
I have always wondered what happens to people who flee from say Kapooka during recruit training?
Or maybe they finish recruit training and decide fuck this and just leave a year or two into their contracts?
Do they get looked for?
Do they get jailed or forced back to finish their contract? What if they flee again?
Also what happens if someone absconds during an overseas trip?
People im guessing have done this before yes?
Side question, what's military prison like? Do MPs watch over prisoners? Or is it the job of other types of service members?
Was there ever some kind of falling out between JPJ and Page and plant?

As a complete beginner to programming about to start my first year in computer science next month.
If i want to learn programming specifically in C++,
would Programming -- Principles and Practice Using C++ (3rd Edition) be a good choice?
Does this book have many practice problems with solutions id be able to run through myself?
Or is it more of a guided run down of the language?
Is C++ a good language to start with and get proficient at?
I see many more junior or grad jobs out there for Java or JavaScript developers then I do C++ so I'm assuming it's much harder to find a role with C++.
