Friend of 6 years deleted their account and removed me from everything after an argument.

I had a friend I met on a game back in 2020. We became very close and up until a few days ago I would have considered them my best friend. We spoke daily about anything and everything.

3 months ago we got into an argument. We've had serious arguments before but they were far and few between and we were always able to make up and move on. This one was a little different and I suppose.

So after a few back and forths there was radio silence from both of us for 2 months. The more time went on the more I didn't know what to say to make things better. I wanted to message every day but felt like I was going to make things worse. Unfortunately not messaging is what made things worse and they deleted their entire account and removed me from anything I might be able to contact them on.

That account was the only way I could reach them and I'm left with no way to say sorry. 6 years of friendship gone and I can't apologize. I didn't want it to end this way, I was stupid, but now there's nothing I can do except hope they add me again on another account, but knowing them that's very doubtful.

Just felt like venting here, I know there isn't much I can do at this point. If anyone is in a similar situation I really suggest reconnecting with that person before they're gone forever.

Found a 2011 iMac. Is there anything worth doing with it?

Found this iMac at work. I've never owned one but was wondering if there was anything worth doing with it besides trying to sell or recycling it. I usually try to repurpose things before I decide to get rid of them but I've never used a Mac before. Any ideas?

Photos of NYC dated November 1972

Found a bag of VHS tapes getting thrown out and this was in it. Thought it was interesting enough to take and ended up being some cool pics of NYC from 1972. Seems like they were taken with a minox camera.

Hi. I started financing a car through carvana and added a trade in with my old car to go along with it. The website for the new car said 225 a month w/ trade in and $0 cash down underneath it.

The car I was trading in got crashed into while parked and was totaled so I had to cancel the trade in. The person on the phone told me now I have to do a $590 cash down payment because of this.

Is this normal? I initially chose the car because of the no cash down. I was only getting 400 for the car anyway so I don't know where 590 came from. Did I just miss something in the fine print?
