Specs: 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, Automatic, with an Ironman 4x4 2” lift (subframe spacers installed).60k miles.

I would normally think the clicking (2-3 clicks at a time) is a bad CV, but I’m getting it from both sides when doing sharp slow turns. Not all the time, say 60%. Usually happens when pulling forward from a reverse and straightening out the wheel. Both don’t click at the same time, but will happen on one or the other depending on direction I turn the wheel. Can also happen when just turning at a stop light.

Boots look fine on both CVs and Sway bar end links. Trying to avoid the $200 diag fee if I can avoid it.

Thoughts?

Need to replace my front CV Axels, they be clicking when turning left and right. Heard to stick with OEM parts for best performance / longevity. Just curious, what’s the going rate these days parts + install? Ballpark is fine. Mine’s a 2018 Crosstrek Premium.
