I'm convinced that we have seen the last of Tyra this season-- or that her role will be minimal.
If you think about timelines... the show was filmed in February/March of this year. February 16th was when Netflix's ANTM doc came out, followed by two other docs in the weeks following, all painting Tyra in a bad light.
Tyra clearly thought she would come out clean and we all know she didn't.
Anyone have any thoughts on this one?
I generally like NWR movies but watching the first bit of it-- it seems really slow.
I watched this show way back when-- it satirized what was going on behind the scenes of 90210. I think it was even done by one of the producers.

The secondary characters in season 1 are the best...
Lydia Leeds has the worst perm... worse than Andrea's... but I love Mackenzie (Melissa Rivers... yes... Melissa Rivers) from the club... the one with the big uncle producer.
Probably a dead end but I'm somewhat new to London and wondering if there is really any sort of film scene, club, group for cinephile's.
I'm not a film snob or elitist but miss living in a larger city and there being a much larger forum of film fans.

Also... I have seen a couple of posts about this recently and am really disappointed by this as well... but they removed Are You Afraid Of The Dark from streaming everywhere in Canada... including Apple where they used to have the entire series. Was only able to get Vol. 1.
I'm finishing season 5-- do the musical episodes ever stop?
I really do enjoy Riverdale but I feel like the musical interludes are really taking away from the show. I enjoy a musical episode of a show or dance sequence every so often but it's getting old.
Thoughts?

Picked up the box sets of this show at the Goodwill. Put on the first episode and seems pretty decent. Anyone have thoughts? Worth the four season commitment?
Currently watching the third season of American Horror Story (Coven) after a friend of mine said it was their favourite season and that the next season is a sequel (?) to this season.
I don't know why but I don't love this season. I'm pushing myself through it. It seems boring and longwinded (re longwinded-not unlike other seasons). I hear people gush about this season constantly and I almost find it unwatchable. It's feels like it has relied so heavily on the 'lore of witchcraft' but at the end of the day-- it just isn't fun!
I'm probably alone on this one.
I am trying to find a good place to get some tattoo's on my legs. I already have the drawing-- but I feel like some tattoo artists get annoyed when you do the drawing yourself. Usually go to artists that are good with traditional style tattoo's.

I just finished this. Great cast. Good writing. OK show. Probably cancelled because there were so many similar shows out at the same time. 'Physical' is the first that comes to mind. I do think Kirsten Dunst did it better.

I just restarted Beverly Hills 90210-- purchased the digital 4K.
First episode secondary character-- Marianne Moore has always been a favourite but I feel like in the first season nearly every episode introduced a secondary character. I can't remember if Kelly's gay ex was in the first season, Scott's sister, the cleaning ladies daughter, Andrea's aunt?
Who's the best of the secondary characters. I ask because I sorta felt like someone of them (like Dylan and Donna) were sorta tested to be regulars. Definitely felt that Marianne Moore got a lot of screen time.
This movie does not get enough credit.
I saw it at the Tiff Lightbox in Toronto when I was travelling and there were only a handful of people in the theatre but we all thought it was amazing.
I fear that some of what was impactful about the movie is lost on digital/physical media but the movie is still great.
'Half Man' is 'Heated Rivalry' for gay men.
To this day one of my favourite cartoons. It's my comfort cartoon.
Netflix animated series is not bad either.
PS-Does anyone know if there is a better DVD release than the Cookie Jar release?
