Accidentally updated? No worries, here's how to downgrade.

Simply Google steam://open/console then go back to steam and click on the new console tab, then paste in these commands:

  • download_depot 489830 489831 8442952117333549665
  • download_depot 489830 489832 8042843504692938467
  • download_depot 489830 489833 1914580699073641964

Then copy those files from their folders into your skyrim folder and replace anything that is the same. This should downgrade you to 1170

Edit: there has been a downgrader released https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/169962

Scary mods

What are some mods that scared you guys the most? I'm trying to build up my tolerance to scares in video games and figure this is a good way to do so

A thing some of you guys need to hear in relation to the NV remaster

Remasters traditionally add 0 or very little content, you are going to be disappointed if you think we are getting a whole Christmas list of additions.

Oblivion got 2 new quest that were deluxe edition exclusive, and TES is bethesda's baby that they treat best. We aren't getting a legion companion. We aren't getting post-game. We aren't getting any of the billion other things they cut due to their self enforced time limit. (Yes you heard me right, it wasn't bethesda's fault for once)

I get you guys love the game, I do too, but you're setting yourselves up to be disappointed and mad when you expect the world. I'd love to be wrong but I just don't think I will be.

In short, keep your expectations low, this is bethesda, remember that.

Power fantasies where you earn the power and start weak

I'm a massive dragon ball fan and have always searched for a game where you can actually train and stuff to get stronger to the point of being absurdly strong like in dragon ball, the problem being that all the modern dragon ball games suck at making you feel like you earned it, even xenoverse 2 where you grind for hours, the only game I've found that does it in the way I want is 9 days, but that game is extremely rough around the edges. I want to be able to claw my way from being weak and feeble all the way to being practical a god, where my strength isn't just from having big numbers or getting lucky from getting a god roll item. I've tried kenshi a little bit and it was good, but I felt aimless since I'm bad at making my own goals

Ideas for birthday presents

Over the past year I've come to love new vegas and thus wanna get some piece of merch or something from it, the 15th anniversary bundle looks neat but with bethesda's history of merch I'm not super confident it'll be good quality. Any ideas would be much appreciated since I'm horrible at coming up with ideas for myself.

I really loved in VS how the chests and everything was designed to be super flashy to hold your attention, I haven't found anything like that in the few games in the genre I've played, those being: VS, Brotato, and Deep rock survivors. among those Brotato was the worst by far, it just was bland and not to my taste, but I can still tell a lot of effort was put in.

This is me clicking the test button on windows to illustrate the problem better than I can describe it, the click is a good bit before the sound happens: https://on.soundcloud.com/X9IdXR4fQKH5uqOrp8

I have tried: disabling hands free telephony, restarting the computer, restarting the computer with Bluetooth off, reconnecting the headphones, connecting the headphones to another device.

My heart is still pounding, I gave her a note saying if she ever needed someone to talk to that I was always available with my number attached, and she actually texted me!
