Has anyone had a GOOD experience dissolving filler?

Got 1ml jaw filler a few weeks ago, swelling has subsided and honestly the changes are pretty subtle, but I still don’t love it. Considering washing my hands of this all and just dissolving in hopes of reverting to my pre-filler appearance, but dissuaded (and mildly terrified, lol) by all the horror stories of hylauronise I’ve seen on Reddit. Has anyone had a GOOD experience to share? I think I’m probably less at risk of adverse effects just because the filler is so recent + I haven’t had anything else, but still on the fence. Thanks :) honestly had I known what I know now about filler/dissolving it I’d have genuinely never gone through with it, thought it was going to be something conservative and easily reversible but so far I’m afraid that it’s been nothing but a source of anxiety, lol.

Jaw Filler Concerns

Hi all,

I got jaw filler injected a few days ago by a very well-reviewed aesthetician. It’s been about 72 hours, and my face still looks puffy. I’m genuinely getting extremely worried that filler will have made my face too voluminous, and/or will affect lymphatic drainage, to the point where I’m considering dissolving it - although I’ve heard that can be bad for you as well, so now I’m mildly worried I’l at least have SOME sort of permanent damage... I just can’t help but panic even though I know it’s too premature to accurately judge the results yet. I actually wanted chin filler, but I got it done in Paris, and I think it sort of got lost in translation - and then when he was injecting I was too focused on that to actually consider whether he was going for the jaw or chin/unfamiliar enough with the procedure not to question it.

I suppose the silver lining is that I only got 1ml, so quite conservative; and, again, he is very well-reviewed.

Would appreciate hearing everyone else’s experiences with post-filler swelling/puffiness, lymphatic drainage, dissolving it, etc.

Thanks so much!

Dan was absolutely VICIOUS in Season 6 😭

Every other line he was saying something snarky/doing something mean

I apologize if this is a common/obvious question, but I wanted to hear about people’s personal experiences as the science seems a bit conflicting as to whether sugar itself causes facial puffiness (via insulin spike, etc.) or whether it’s merely the salt and other ultra processed ingredients that are generally also in foods with lots of sugar. To clarify, I’m not talking about cutting sugar -> losing facial fat; I’m talking specifically about puffiness. Anecdotally I notice what I think is a pretty drastic difference - but I genuinely don’t know whether that’s placebo or not
