I hired a local woodworker to make a board for me - 24x18x2.5 American Black Cherry End Grain - unoiled - living in Socal.

I oiled it myself a couple of times and let it sit with oil on top overnight and in the morning it was more or less gone.

its been about a week or so and its still oily whenever i touch the top of it. if i wipe it with a paper towel, it doesnt seem oiley but when i touch it with my hand OR leave something (like an amazon package on it or a food box) it will leave a oily footprint if you will, on the surface of the board and possibly whatever was on top of it.

Why is the board doing this? havent used it as a cutting board yet as a result. I dont want my food covered in cutting board oil.

What should we do? (Picture in post)

Hey Yall, we JUST moved in today into a condo, upon walk around and tour we noticed the handle had broken off the microwave and was assured by the time move in (today) it would be address properly. (dont even get me started on the lack of cleaning, the house was so bad they gave us a $200 credit towards next months rent and are sending a handyman out next week to repair some other stuff)

BUT, how should we handle this? it looks like they slapped a whole bottle of epoxy and glue on the handle and just left it as is. Should we demand a new microwave, should we accept it as is, should we ask them to repair it properly?

What should we do?

pretty much like the title suggests, I have a brand new, un-oiled cutting block that i need to oil up

should i oil it and let it absorb the oil while laying horizontally like its going to spend most of its life, or should i oil it and then stand it on its side so its vertical?

I have access to a fitted Omen with drones and a fitted Caracel.

two plans of attack, which one makes more sense for increasing standing to get to L3.

Plan 1: Go in with the Omen, drones, weak shield, fairly thick armor: Unleash 5 Hobgoblins and sick em on the rats, i fly to the main obj. pop it, recall drones and dip . ( or just we kill everything )

Plan 2: Go in with the caracel, no drones. weakish armor, but a GIRTHY shield w/ resistances + 2 shield regens, and either sprint and pop obj or just fly and kill everything?

From a veteran player, does one of these sound better than the other OR is there a different plan you would emplore?

Quick disclaimer - still new , less than a week

just entered low sec - QUICKLY realized i need some attack drones as a rat got me. ( i think thats the correct terminology , just a lil npc sitting in the asteroid field) BUT now im in a pioneer with 4 hobgoblins flying around and im mining kernite III and Jaspret III, compressing it, and selling it. right now each stack is about 80m3 and sells for roughly 1-1.5mill Isk.

Is this what i should be doing or am i doing something wrong?

where im selling is a couple jumps away so im thinking about buying a hauler, waiting until its full, then doing one trip with what id rough napkin math to be close to 60-93mill?

(sigil is 5000m3, 5000/80 = 62, 62*1.5=93)

when i first started, i just did all 10 missions for each of the factions (explorer, industrialists, Soldier of fortune, and enforcer) so now im looking at the freelancer jobs and holy shiii...how do yall read this thing?

Guess first question - Is there a main mission????

Second question - how do i know which subsection of missions is just for me to play solo?

like if i just want to chill after work, fly around and do some stuff unbothered, which section of missions is that?

third mission - at what point should a new player stop following the AIR career plan or should i just do ALL of the air career plan? (seems like 40-60 hours worth of tutorial play to me)

So now that ive been selling for about 1.5 months, i have some sales and some experience now. One thing i dont understand and i was hoping you can help me with.
When i sell pokemon cards, ill put them in an #10 window envelope and throw the postage on the top corner and call it good.

Well i was looking at my stats and realized i need 95%< Tracking uploaded and im at 48%. I ALWAYS ship the next day and have never missed an order. From now on to increase this, do i need to buy the postage through ebay and use the QR code option and stick that on the Envelope?

So im new to selling, coming up on a month of selling (the 14th of the month) and im looking at numbers, and right now im at about a 31% net sale rate. So every $1000, im getting about $310 (before my costs). I sell mainly low value bulk and bulk lots of 60. I messed up at first and offered free shipping on the bulk lots so id sell these and after all the time spent and shipping, id end up with $.05 to show for it on a $14 sale. so that hiccup definitely skews the percentage in my mind but what SHOULD i be aiming for, For those that are established, what is your net % coming out too?

Im looking to hire an artist to make me an Ebay Store banner/header
I like water pokemon and would want (if it fits and doesnt become too crowded) Totodile, Poliwhirl, Blastoise, and Kingdra on the title as well as obviously my shop name and Instagram handle.

Font: I would want in the Shop NAme in the Pokemon Theme and maybe the same with the instagram name ?

Colors: ???? idk maybe something to compliment the water type pokemon so have some freedom with this one

Style: i like retro style with bold lettering, i also really like the style that the Eevee is but idk styles or names.

Budget: I dont know the first thing about how much digital art costs so you tell me your pricing, IDEALLY under $50?? but if thats unrealistic, please let me know.

Turnaround time: Everyones busy and im a realists, just give me a reasonable expectations from the start

After a bit, id also be asking for smaller shop icons with different wording but same overall theme so id be a repeat customer.
