Walmart still has Series X 1 TB on sale for $573

I went ahead and picked up an extra one in case something happens to my current one. With my luck, it would stop working or something right after the next price hike 🫪

New pickups

Mixed bag of movies. Got the Batman movie, Babylon A.D., and The Shooting / Ride in the Whirlwind from Whatnot for $30 total. The Patriot and Liberty Valance were on sale from Amazon. And Cutter's Way was from the Barnes & Noble 50% off Radiance sale. Nice thick case on it. I've seen Babylon A.D. and Liberty Valance before but the others are blind buys. (Not pictured are my Criterion pickups from today during the 50% sale at B&N. I bought Picnic at Hanging Rock, I Am Cuba, and preordered Hud)

Vintage, single stitch Batman t-shirt. Date on it is 1988. Found this clearing out a hoarders house a few years ago and got it for free. Definitely one of my favorite shirts.

This used to be on GP but is currently on sale for $3.99

I put around 15 hours into it when it was on GP before. I totally forgot about it tbh until I saw the definitive version on sale for $3.99, so I decided to pick it up and restart it. Totally worth it if you're into the Western genre at all. It's a Western with supernatural vibes (think Jonah Hex like). Gameplay is like a twin stick shooter, but I use the other aim setting and prefer it over the twin stick setting.

Late to the party but happy to be here

I just bought both of these games on sale recently. I've played more of the 2nd one so far and god damn is it fun. I'm only level 5 right now but I'm hooked. It definitely scratches that looter shooter itch. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a roguelite/roguelike so at only a few bucks it was worth getting the 1st one as well. I haven't picked up the DLC yet for the 2nd one but I'm sure I will next time it's on sale.

Which game is your favorite? Just wanted to make an appreciation post for these games. Thanks, devs.

Mr. Denton on Doomsday (The Twilight Zone)

I was watching The Twlight Zone and just finished watching this Western themed one called "Mr. Denton on Doomsday". It's about a town drunk who was once a top gunfighter until he started drinking after being challenged by a 16 year old. Blazing Saddles parodied this in regards to the Waco Kid being shot by a 6 year old in a duel, leading to him becoming an alcoholic.
