Is iptv a good option for us?

My husband and I are seniors, will be retiring soon. And we’re planning to ditch cable and go with a few streaming services. We expect we’ll watch more movies and series after we retire. But someone told us iptv is not a good option for us because it’s mostly all foreign content and used mostly by immigrants who still want to access their shows from back home. Is this true? We’re in Canada. My husband watches sports. I like documentaries and some series and movies. We have crave, cable, Netflix, prime, tubi. We don’t find anything worth watching on tubi or prime.
I’d like some feedback if we should try iptv.

Consider me an idiot. I have some questions. My house is 2 storey, basement, main floor, upstairs. 2800 sq.ft. I currently have central AC and gas furnace. Main floor and basement are always freezing in summer and the bedrooms upstairs never get cool enough to be even bearable.

  1. Do heat pumps use existing furnace duct work? Or are heat pumps ductless?
  2. Are heat pumps and mini splits the same thing?
  3. I have a 2 storey house, the 4 upstairs bedrooms never get cool enough in summer, main floor is freezing in order to get the upstairs even bearable. Can a heat pump installed upstairs cool down all 4 bedrooms? Is one heat pump needed in each bedroom? Or does one heat pump service multiple rooms?
  4. I’ve heard a lot of people say their heat pump breaks down a lot, and they can’t find repair techs very easily, etc. is this a common problem, or is it brand related? I stayed at an Airbnb for a month last summer while on vacation and it had a heat pump, it broke down 3 times in a month. The host said the unit was only 1.5 yrs old.
