Has Anyone Read Hunter Unlucky?

I've never read it, but I'm dying to know if it's worth it. The book came out in 2014. I think it's a 5 book series or set in the same universe. The first book is around 600 pages. The 2nd and 3rd book is around 100 pages. The 4th and 5th book is around 400 pages.

Is It Possible To Transfer My Writing From Laptop To The Phone?

I can't seem to find my previous work on the phone, so do I have to copy and paste? And vice versa? Is that the only way?

Does Adults Read Warriors?

I'm in my 30s, so I didn't start reading warriors til earlier this year. I know it's aim toward kids, but with the big fan base, I felt like adults are reading them too. You don't have to say your age. You could just say late teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.

Is Grammarly Okay For Writing A Book?

I'm writing a book, but I only use grammarly for grammar corrections. Is that still considered AI? The whole story is still written by me. I figured it's the same thing using an editor.

[Discussion] Is There Any Serious Beta Reader On Here?

I haven't been on here long, but I noticed people just want their story to be read and don't wanna read other people's story. Some don't even interact with their post at all, which is even more strange. This subreddit is not supposed to be about competition. It's like people want fans, but don't wanna be the fan. From my experience, I've learned actual readers are likely to read your stuff more than people who wanna be an author.

Special Guerilla Unit

I'm Hmong and my people fought in the Vietnam War with the US, which is how we end up in the US. I met a Vietnam Vet yesterday at my job and he said that my people led them through the jungle. Is there anything you could tell me about my people from the war? Any information is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Does Anyone Know The Word Count For Middle Grade Books?

I'm from the US. I keep finding different answers. From what I've found, it's somewhere between 30k - 60k. What is the exact word count especially for a first book? What would be a good enough word count for a literary agent?

I'm On Book 5 and I'm Not Seeing Why DOTC Is Good

So far, all I'm really getting is a whole lot of internal conflicts about who should be the leader. There's no main villain at all. Only small villain here and there. None of the MC are likable cause they constantly make dumb choices. The cats in this series are so forgiving that it's not even realistic. Half of the times the story felt like a filler. The plot is inconsistent. I've been trying to give DOTC a chance since the 1st book. DOTC is supposed to be the second most popular after the first book series, but I strongly question that now.

People Who Feed Into Your Depression Is Not Your Friend

I'm talking about people in your real life and people on here who feed into your depression. Have you heard of the saying "misery loves company." Someone who understand your pain is not the same as someone who's feeding into your pain. Be cautious of others who feels hopeless and they want you to be hopeless with them. The feeling of pain is seductive and it will tricked you to believe that it is your friend. This is my therapy for today.

I Can't Finish DOTC Cause I Absolutely Hate Clear Sky

I just started book 4 but I'm not sure I wanna finish the series. They should've never made Clear Sky as one of the MC. Honestly, I hate Clear Sky with a passion. They should've never allowed him to be a leader again. Clear Sky has no compassion toward kits, his friends, family, or anyone! He's bloodthirsty and he seem to be impressed by cruelty (One Eye). I hate reading his thoughts so much that it's giving me anger problem. I also hate how Gray Wing keep making excuses for his brother. Almost like he's condoning his actions. I don't think this series is healthy to read.

Did You Lose Friends Cause of Your Self-Growth?

I've lost many friends and potential friends since I started improving myself 10 years ago. I come from a background of parties, fights, drugs, and alcohol. My ex friends and I will talk about absolutely nothing all day, every day. Some of my friends did slowed down and grow up, but they still have shallow conversations.

I went through a spiritual change, and now I like seeing nature and having deep or intelligent conversations. I still joke around but I no longer feel the need to do it all day. I've cut off friends and cousins cause they were insulting my growth and talking down to the better version of me. I can tell the new version of me is boring to them. Now my circle is not even a circle. It's just basically me most of the times. They said "bad company is worse than no company."

IWTL How To Stop Arguing With People Online

I think it's fair to say that we're all guilty of this. I do believe there are things worth arguing about, but for the most part I know it's not worth it. I've come across some people online who have serious mental problems. It's kinda scary cause I don't wanna be miserable and bitter like them. I have people online who took their pain out on me like I'm the one who hurt them. I think having pain and having blind pain (blind hatred) are 2 different things.

I keep getting stucked in this dumb habit of explaining myself to people who probably don't even care for facts or the truth. I realized they just wanna spread their pain and hatred to others. I don't wanna be like them cause I know it's not living.

How Does Wasian Feel About Other Wasian That Doesn't Claim Asian

I'm not wasian myself but I am with a white girl. We've been together for 7 years and one day soon we plan to get married and have a kid. I grew up very Asian in the US, and I mean 90s and early 2000s Asian. I know all Wasian are not the same so I'm curious what do y'all think about Wasian who doesn't wanna learn about their Asian roots/culture?

Write Down Your Feelings

I started writing poetry for 20 years on and off. When I first started at 17, my poems were full of anger and depression. The last 2 years, I got really good at expressing myself through poems. I turned my pain into an art. I've performed them many times at poetry places in front of people.

Do not worry about the grammar or how it may sound. Just write your feelings down for now. One day you'll understand your emotions better and it will sound more like an art of expression instead of venting, but it does require practice.

Writing could be self therapy. Writing could be a remedy. Writing actually saved me from suicide. It was a talent of mine and it made me proud of myself. Learn to see the art in your own struggle and pain. Find the beauty within the chaos. We all go through storms but if you could learned from that experience then you will become the sun. It's not about being perfect but being better than before.

Stop Venting If You're Not Looking For A Solution

I see some people who will make a post just to vent and then don't even interact with their own post. This is not healthy. Don't get so caught up in the cycle of venting that it becomes an addiction. There are some people on here who truly wanna help cause we've been there many times. Try to learn about how to express yourself instead of venting cause there's a difference between the two. A post shouldn't be about getting likes or views. It should honestly be about looking for a way improve yourself.

I'm On A Cat Journey

I finished The Prophecy Begins series in 7 days cause I'm a bookaholic, lol. I decided to get Dawn of The Clan and The Broken Code cause I keep seeing them being in the top 3 Warrior Series after The Prophecy Begins. I have to get Tailchaser's Song cause it's the OG cat book and it inspired Warriors.

The Wildlings and The Hundred Names is a 2 books series. I know it's about stray cats with power.

I know the original series is book 1 - 6 and the prequel is book 9 - 11. What is book 7 - 8? I heard book 7 - 8 is pretty bad and was wondering if I should skip it. What's book 12 - 16 and is it the same arc? Thank you in advance.
