Am I the only one who giggled at this scene?

This was pretty fucked up for HIM to put the girls through this, but something about this scene makes me ROFL every time I watch it.
I hope it doesn’t make me a sadist, cause it’s fiction.
But what was your reaction to it?

DIY applications?

Hello everyone.

I’m considering purchasing this book from my local bookstore. I have always been interested in DIY projects and mini machinery, and wanted to hear some advice from someone who might have had exposure to this handbook specifically.

How would you rate this book in terms of usefulness? I understand it has many specifications and formulas, but is it also good for 3D printed projects? What are the other applications or uses this book can serve?

If possible, a quick overview of all the information in it would be helpful!

Abstract-styled background used in PPG

So in the PPG episode “Dream Scheme” during the chicken chase portion and throughout the episode, several pieces of stock footage were used to give the episode a psychedelic feel to it. But this colorful background in particular caught my interest.

It looks like abstract footage that was likely produced a very long time ago, likely long before PPG even became public. Does anyone know the source of this swirly abstract background in this episode, particularly the stock footage for it or the artist?

I’ve done a deep search everywhere, and still no luck… :(

Roasting every socionics type

ESE - Please take time to read people better, or you will end up being taken advantage of

LSE - No, I didn’t do what you asked not because I forgot, but because I don’t care. You should stop being hard on people, including yourself.

LIE - if you keep steamrolling over your friends and family, you won’t have them around much longer

EIE - You’re not that special, but you somehow think you are. Your speeches are boring, and no, you’re not about to start some revolution. Bubble burst

SEE - I don’t know why you act surprised and upset when you purposefully put yourself in situations that you know are gonna screw you over later. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so

SLE - we all know you love provoking and arguing with people, but you’ll soon learn what goes around comes around

SEI - no one cares about how stressed out you are or how “chill” you want to be. Get off your ass for once in your life you lazy f*ck.

SLI - the SpongeBob “hi I’m normal” personified. Do you guys even have a personality?

LSI - you are super dogmatic about pretty much everything and really not open to others opinions. Well jokes on you, I can have an opinion too. Freedom of speech 🗣️

ESI - do you have to be uptight, or were you just born with sticks up your behind? Life really isn’t that serious and you should learn to laugh and go with the flow

IEI - your dreams and philosophies are called “unrealistic” for a reason. You should go outside more

ILI - Insulting others over small mistakes or because they disagree with you is not the way to make friends just so you know

IEE - i advise you to work on your attention span. You have way too many gifts and talents to give them up on tumblr meme collecting

EII - Learn to take criticism. Your tendency to get offended at every moral issue makes it hard to have a reasonable conversation with you

LII - You think you’re the first person to have an idea or obtain knowledge on a subject just because you quote a bunch of books you read, but have you ever followed your own advice?

ILE - Same as LII but they can’t shut up for 5 min and seem to turn every piece of trivia into a meme.

I’m in a good entry level job right now, but I’m concerned about layoffs

Hi everyone.

So I just graduated with my bachelors and am currently working at an entry-level position in my hometown at a small firm, and making a slightly low pay for now. However, my main concern is being potentially laid off out of the blue or getting dismissed early.
That is what happened during my previous internship experience, and it really made me question becoming a civil engineer.

Recently, a lot of projects have suffered budget cuts. The DoD has also cut $500 million on related projects within civil engineering, primarily those within infrastructure.

My job right now currently does a lot of stuff with precast concrete arches and construction drawings. I’ve expanded into calculating the dimensions and sizing for wingwall structures as well. I’ve chosen to go down the structural route, so I think it will be good experience.

Would you say that I am in a good spot right now for employment, or should I start looking for other places or jobs? Should I be worried about layoffs again?

I am a bit wary about my Grindr contact

So for context, me and this random guy agreed to be FWB through Snapchat once we interacted through Grindr. I’m 22 and he is 23
At that point, we both agreed everything would be kept confidential and nothing would be shared to other people under any circumstance. He asks if I wanted to share some intimate photos of myself, and I do agree and consent to it since we established trust.
I ask him to do the same. He avoids doing so and goes straight to asking me for my Instagram and phone number. However, when I asked him for his info, he once again avoids doing so.

I keep my instagram private for obvious reasons. I am concerned that his intentions are to leak my photos to my friends and loved ones and my life would be ruined at that point.

Does this guy seem suspicious? Am I right in feeling uncomfortable?

I take the FE Exam tomorrow. Need a little reassurance

Hello, everyone.

So I took the first FE Civil practice Exam Vol. 1 two times (passed the second time) while also using the FE reference handbook.

I have also watched most of Mark Mattson's FE Review playlist and went to over ten review sessions this semester at my university in preparation for the FE.

Should I be good to go? Anything I should know going into tomorrow? Do I really need to take the Vol. 2 Practice Exam? It is hella expensive, and I don't want to spend anymore past my budget.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hello everyone,

I've gotten very invested in socionics, and wanted some feedback on my interpretation of Model A posted here. I've included some terms to make it easier to understand and for my own curiosity.

What do you think of my definitions of each of these terms listed under Model A. Any ways to fix it. Corrections?

Program - I'm great at this

Creative - I'm good at this

Role - I'm bad at this

Vulnerable - I'm terrible at this

Suggestive - Others are great at this

Mobilizing - Others are good at this

Ignoring - Others are bad at this

Demonstrative - Others are terrible at this
