I’m reading in the Ball canning book but I am not understanding when/ how to use the acid to prevent browning.

Episode 9 made this very clear

Can anyone who has canned corn give me a ballpark estimate of how many ears of corn it takes for a pint?

Also, do you prefer cold or hot packing?
