Looking at a new head units for my 04’ sport

Looking at new head units and I think I’m settled on the Sony XAV-AX4000. Looking for some input and feedback, is it easy to install? My requirements for what I’m after are apple car play/wireless capable, reliable, easy install, backup camera compatible, and i like the idea of using it for videos but its not a requirement or worth a lot of extra $$. For anyone who has gone this route any complaints or regrets or things you wish you would have known before installing? Any alternatives that meet the requirements and may be better? Looking for any other insights or recommendations especially on backup cameras or other installation recs? I love that I can still play my cds on my OG head unit and even cassette tapes but it’s on its way out and I’d rather replace before. If there’s any way to easily/cost effectively incorporate a cd player or there are alternatives that have this without sacrificing my other requirements please chime in! Thanks 🙏

I heard this stuff was good

Bought this a few months back after searching for a long time but had so much stuff opened it’s been in rotation. Well tonight was the night. Normally the neck pour is significantly worse than the rest of the bottle ime but this is tasty straight off the go. Maybe it gets a lot of hype but can’t argue that it’s good and easy drinking. 🥂

Pollen exchange?

Looking to see if anyone would be interested in exchanging pollen? I don’t recall if this plant is self fertile or not but I’m on my fourth bloom so far and the first one I picked this morning bc it was starting to mold. I’d love to be able to better guarantee at least one or two fruits and it seems like regardless of genetics outside pollen is better. Located in CA in case there’s any concerns of mailing Accross state lines or any of that fun stuff. I’ve been cutting off the stamen and saving them so I’d be happy to send some your way in exchange for anyone else looking as well. Thanks

So excited! Do I help pollinate?

After repotting I’m getting a ton of buds and flowers. Today my son noticed they opened up and closed within a few hours. Should I be trying to pollinate here or let nature do its thing? They are supposedly self pollinating but idk what that really means. I’ve had a couple other flowers through the years but never multiple like this. 🤞

What should I do?

Aside from cleaning out the moss, how can I check if this little guy is solo or not without disturbing everything? I have two 10 gallon tanks which I put 6 Pygmy Cory’s in each of. The other tanks group is happy and seems to be fine but this tank has gotten over grown but shown no signs of die off. I only see this one little guy now, but for a while wasn’t seeing any and had assumed they may have died or now starved as I stopped feeding fish food when I couldn’t see them for a while. I’ve started feeding again since seeing him but I’m wondering if the others are just hiding since there’s an abundance of places to do so. Should I try to just relocate this one to my other tank and does anyone have suggestions on how to gently check for the others. The last time I did some maintenance on the moss, I took what felt like a ton out and it came back with a fury. I don’t hate it like it is either but always open to suggestions and I’d like to keep my Cory’s happy and alive. Thanks

What should I do here?

My office rubber tree is getting close to the ceiling on this single branch and has also started leaning over which is my main concern. I don’t remember how big this pot is but I’d guess 20-30gallon? Do I need to be concerned about it falling over? I have bamboo stakes that I’ve used for balancing and can get longer ones or use something sturdier like redwood if needed but if it’s not a concern I will probably leave it alone. It’s pretty slow growing and I’ll admit doesn’t get watered as much as it should but I’ve had it for a number of years now and want to keep it going. Anyone else have pruning or care tips they can recommend for when these get even bigger would love to hear as well. Thanks 🙏

How to deal with the front office/billing?

Edit: I think I jumped the gun and fed into the responses. After more googling, the billing procedure code is 99214 which says the primary reason it’s denied is due to lack of documentation on the providers end to justify it. It seems I and many other may have read into the basis of the visit too much, if anyone else has had similar experiences with this code and the reason for rejection was diagnosis related please let me know but it seems they are just being obstinate in not re-submitting and happy to pass along the denial to me?

We are going through the long and painful process of getting our son valuate for services and a diagnosis, likely for ASD. Recently, we saw a psychologist for diagnosis, who said we should explore OT now as there is no diagnosis needed. When I asked for a referral, she said we should go through our pediatrician because they will be able to help with navigating the insurance networks better. We made an appointment with my son‘s pediatrician asking for the referral, I received a bill for almost $300 (our co-pay is $30). When I message the office about this seeming to be a mistake because it showed that our insurance covered zero dollars, and it goes entirely toward our deductible, they replied with that our insurance denied the claim because they do not cover “mental health diagnosis“. There was no diagnosis given by the pediatrician. It was a straightforward appointment for a referral to OT (which we found none of take Insurance in this area anyways). I am fuming and have written back explaining this to them and I’m awaiting a response, how is this legal and has anyone had luck with communicating with these people in a way that has them actually help? Everything so far seems like they are just middle manning the insurances reply and not doing anything to actually assist except for making it worse.

Recommend some finish options

I’ve had this step stool for a while that our neighbors were getting rid of because one of the screws had stripped on the side/stabilizer bars (I assume) so I snagged it and fixed, so far it’s been a solid little stool. If you noticed the crutch next to this, I have a broken knee atm and have been coming up with all kinds of crazy projects as of late… strictly coincidental. So now comes the big dilemma on how I’m going to refinish this bc obviously this is a really big deal now and requires my utmost attention. I have some different left over stains, Brazilian rosewood oil, paints and different grits of sand paper. No idea on the wood here but I’d guess pine or cedar. Any thoughts or recommendations? Opinions? Other stationary projects to keep me sane? Planning on using around the house and outside and wanted to spice it up and extend the life a bit. Thanks

Are there smaller than “standard” flints? Am I missing something here?

This is a “cheap” Chinese lighter from Aliexpress so i don’t have super high expectations but I did assume I’d get more than a single flint’s life out of it. When I unscrewed to change it the flint flew out with the spring and is lost for comparison. On all my other lighters I’ll generally recycle bics and other disposables by ripping out the flints and using when my “nicer” ones run out. So far I haven’t experienced any comparability issues except on this. I can’t get the flint to go all the way down to save my life, is it because it’s the wrong size and this is a thing or is this just a pos cheapy and what I get?

Update from my previous post

I decided to go fancy and buy some redwood fence pickets at a whopping $7.92/ea and broke the bank so I used leftover stuff for the rest. Decide to cut grooves where the dog ears were instead of square. Used some dg, sand, and compost along with the coco coir for repotting. Lastly I had this tiny plant that started from a cutting that I popped in to see how it does. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. Last pic is how it was before.

So uhh do I just leave these or break em off and replant?

Bough this from TJ’s a couple few years ago now? I’ve babied it, got it to re-flower, neglected it, neglected it some more, started watering and caring for it again followed by more neglect until one day it said oh yea? And these started sprouting up all over. It looks cool but they are kind of getting wild and I also feel like maybe I should repot them and see if I can neglect a whole family of orchids!! Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated thanks

What should I do here?

This is the result of buying a dragon fruit a few years ago, planting it into a 15gal bag, and then attempting to move it without doing it right/committing the time to build a planter. I also saw a video that said if you want to trigger fruiting to cut all the tips, which did trigger a ton of growth but no flowers and seemed to speed up this Franken-plant you see here. Now I’m stuck with this beast and I’m finally ready to build a planter/trellis but I’m wondering if it’s even worth taking on or I would be better just hacking off a nice straight chunk and using that. Has anyone else had a similar situation and have any recommendations? Planning a ~ 2’x2’x2’ box with a trellis as a final product but since I’m not getting any fruit, I’m not committed to anything at this point.

Using the current key and getting errors, url gives this?

I know this is just one guy and stuff happens, not complaining, just confirming if I am the only one here or if anyone else is having issues? I’m getting errors when I try to save discs that I haven’t seen before and when I go the the site I can only hit the main page.

Help with ID on new bird

My wife's coworker has been getting harassed for the past few months by this chicken, and today he found her brooding on a clutch of eggs in his yard, so we offered to take her. She will be living in this cat crate for the next few weeks until she's mixed in. Any ideas on potential breeds? Our old girl is pissed off, but as you can see in the second picture, many of our newer chicks seem to already be attracted to her.
