Hi! I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Community School of Naples waitlist.

I applied last year when I was in 7th grade for 8th grade admission and ended up getting waitlisted. I’m currently in 8th grade now and still haven’t heard anything about a spot opening up.

Has anyone here been waitlisted at CSN or know someone who was? I’m mostly wondering how much the waitlist actually moves, if people can still get accepted after the school year has already started, and around what time of year people usually hear back. I’d also be interested to know if anyone stayed on the waitlist for a long time and eventually got in.

I’m mainly looking for information about the waitlist, but if you’ve attended CSN or have kids there and have any general information or experiences with the school, I’d be interested in hearing that too!

Looking for a fresh out of the shower perfume with really good projection and longevity. I want something that smells like freshly washed hair, shampoo, clean soap, and just generally very clean and feminine.

Not looking for a laundry or linen scent, and definitely nothing tropical, beachy, summery, or coconut.

Most clean perfumes I’ve tried sit pretty close to the skin, so I’d especially love recommendations for something people can actually smell on you and that lasts a while.

Looking for an INSANELY long-lasting, strong-projecting luxury hair perfume

I’m looking for a hair perfume/hair mist that is actually strong and long-lasting. I don’t want something that disappears after 20 minutes—I want to be able to move my hair and actually smell it, and have other people smell it too.

My main perfume is Prada Paradoxe Intense, so the hair perfume NEEDS to layer well with it and not fight against it. I also use Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 40 sometimes, but Prada Paradoxe Intense is definitely the main fragrance you can smell on me.

What I’m looking for:

• VERY long-lasting
• Strong projection for a hair mist
• Luxury/high-end smelling
• Fresh, clean, expensive hair/shampoo smell
• Spa-like, polished, sophisticated vibe
• Nothing beachy, tropical, coconutty, sunscreen-like, or super fruity
• Something that complements Prada Paradoxe Intense instead of turning into a weird mix
• Ideally something where my hair still smells amazing hours later

Basically, I want freshly washed, salon/spa hair in a luxury hotel during fall/winter—but strong enough that it’s not just a barely-there “clean girl” mist.

What hair perfumes or hair mists should I look at? I’m totally fine with higher-end/luxury recommendations if they’re genuinely worth it.

I’m looking for a really good hair straightener for slightly wavy hair. My hair isn’t very curly, it’s mostly just wavy, puffy, and can get frizzy/messy. I really prefer how it looks when it’s straight, especially because it makes my hair look longer.
I want something that can get it straight in one pass, maybe two, and actually keep it straight for the entire day. I live in a hot and humid climate, so I need something that holds up well in humidity too.
I also brush my hair throughout the day, so I want to be able to brush through it at school and have it still stay straight and smooth afterward instead of getting wavy or frizzy again.
I’m going for naturally straight-looking hair with some body and fullness. I want it smooth and polished, but I DON’T want super flat, pin-straight, silky “glass hair.” I still want some volume, movement, and bounce so it looks more naturally straight rather than obviously flat-ironed.
I also really don’t want it to make my hair look greasy, oily, stringy, or completely flattened at the roots.
Another big thing: I hate that burnt/hot-hair smell you can sometimes get after using heat tools. I get that with curling irons sometimes and really don’t want it from my straightener. Ideally my hair would still smell clean/like my shampoo afterward.
Basically I want:
One or two passes
Straight all day
Holds up in heat and humidity
Still looks good after brushing it throughout the day
Smooth and frizz-free but still full and bouncy
Not super flat or glassy
No greasy/stringy look
No burnt-hair smell
No price limit. I’m completely fine spending a lot on a high-end straightener if it’s genuinely worth it.

I’m looking for a shampoo with a SUPER strong, long-lasting fragrance. I want to be able to walk past someone and they can actually smell my hair, not only smell it if they’re right next to my head.
I also really don’t want any oily/scalp smell coming through by the end of the day. I want my hair to still smell fresh and noticeably like the shampoo.
About my hair:
● I wash it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT
● It gets really greasy by the end of the next day
● I usually don’t use conditioner
● My hair has never been dyed or color-treated
● I live in a hot and humid climate year-round, so my scalp gets oily/sweaty pretty easily
● I need something that cleans REALLY well without leaving my hair heavy, coated, or weighed down
I specifically want a feminine, expensive, luxury-type fragrance. Think expensive salon hair, perfume, luxury hotel, etc. I’m not looking for masculine-smelling shampoos.
And when I say long-lasting, I mean LONG lasting. Ideally, I wash my hair at night, sleep, go through an entire hot and humid day, and by that evening my hair still smells strongly like the shampoo rather than my scalp.
NO PRICE LIMIT. I genuinely don’t care if it’s $10 or $100+ as long as it actually works.
What is the strongest-smelling and longest-lasting shampoo you’ve ever used that also works for really oily hair?

I moved from New Jersey a little more than a year ago, and I’ve been searching for good pizza and bagel places. I only want to hear your opinion if you are from New York or New Jersey, though.
