Recs for a good finish carpenter?

I have a small project that requires things like baseboards and Trim Work. It’s a small job so it would probably be great for someone in the trade who does side work. Anyone know of a good inside carpenter?

A strange but heartfelt request(not asking anything except for your thoughts on how to handle this)

I commissioned an artist friend from back in the 90s to paint my favorite beach spot, Oak Island. But unfortunately, 30 years have passed. And while I love his work etc., etc., I want to finish the middle part between the horizon and the beach.

He is no longer available, so this would involve another artist to respectfully come in and help me complete it. I would like to honor his work, but I wish I could find someone with skills to finish that little strip of ocean in the style of what he did with the sky and the shore.

I realize and respect that many artists, maybe all, would feel that it is unethical somehow? But after decades, I don’t want to live with it unfinished any longer.

Is it wrong to be considering to bring in someone else to finish it?

Edit 1:
I should have mentioned that we were both there on site over the time the artist painted this, and we both agreed he’d finish the sea part at a later date as he needed to return home before he finished it.

Follow up on previous post about how to handle this situation

Posted two or three weeks back about how best to handle this, and apologies for not connecting to a previous post. But pretty basic question here: I did reach out to a trusted Hardwood finishing professional in my area that I’m actually familiar with, and they quoted $700 and said they would try their best but could not guarantee to planned the old floor with those patches

So I am going to go alone and I’m going to just hand finish those places with care. I am not going to use any kind of power equipment on those little places. So assume properly prepped including dust and everything wiped down and ready, could you guys give me some suggestions on how I could possibly go about approximating the existing floor color?

But at the end of the day, we don’t care how perfectly matched it is, because it is a story of the floor that we laid down in 2013

Grandma’s comfy chair needs help

I inherited a very cool antique armchair that is upholstered that belonged to my grandmother, but it belonged to her parents before that.

Anyone worked with anyone and Charlotte that could do a professional restoration job on that chair?

Easiest way to treat this small area of unfinished hardwood?

We recently removed a bookcase that concealed this fireplace. As you can see, it revealed a small strip on each side of the fireplace that is unfinished. The floors are site finished White Oak.

Any ideas on some way to make this look more presentable without redoing the whole floors or going to a huge amount of trouble?
