I put in a claim for a package I haven’t received about a month or so ago. They just emailed me that if I verify I haven’t gotten the package it could help my claim. The thing is… how do I verify I don’t have something?!?!! Like what kind of idiot team created this? What do I even do?

Hi just bought a new LG microwave not even a month ago. Ben’s working great, literally no issues… until today. For some reason my pot pie wouldn’t heat up. 9 minutes go buy and it’s still cold. But I started to realize that the outside was deathly hot. Like literally burning to the touch. Bought it from Best Buy but they only do 15 day returns. Also I noticed a burning plastic smell when this happened. I have the receipt so could I get it shipped to LG and use my warranty for proof of purchase?
