Trying to set up XIM

I installed the lasted firmware which is 20260616 via MAC but apparently it’s not compatible with the app from the App Store. I’m kinda stuck and not sure what to do from here?

Waking up with bloodshot eyes?

Pretty much every day I wake up with bloodshot eyes. What could this be caused by?

Genuinely feels like I’m slowly losing the inability to sleep.

I know I should be talking to a doctor instead of posting on Reddit but I won’t be able to talk to one until my appointment on the 15th.

Anyways, every night I go to “sleep” it literally does not feel like I’m sleeping and I am waking up exhausted. This has been a gradual thing for a few months but the past week has been COMPLETE hell. I don’t feel like myself at all and literally feel disconnected from reality. This just feels extremely dangerous. I fall asleep around 3:30am and wake up at 11:30am. It literally feels like I blink once and it’s time to get out of bed.

This is the scariest thing I’ve ever dealt with. I know there’s something called like fatal insomnia where you actually lose the ability to sleep. I seriously hope I’m not developing that. Idk. I’m so lost. Please help..

Does this sound like sleep apnea at all?

I’ve been dealing with something for a while now and it’s starting to really scare me. I have no insurance right now so seeing a doctor will be nearly impossible right now. This has been going on for about 3 years but has started out very minuscule and has gradually got worse but now it very loud and pronounced.

TL;DR: I keep waking up feeling like I didn’t sleep at all, with intense sleep inertia, vivid dreams, dry/burning eyes, morning anxiety, brain fog/derealization, low energy, and no sex drive. Trying to pinpoint what this could be so I can do something about it.

Symptoms List:

I wake up feeling like I never actually slept.

It feels like my brain stayed awake all night, even though I know I had to have been sleeping.

Extreme sleep inertia after waking up.

My eyes are very dry and burning when I wake up.

My head feels strange or “off” when I first wake up.

Everything feels dreamlike or surreal after waking up.

I feel disconnected from reality.

Extremely vivid dreams almost every time I’m asleep and I can remember every single dream word for word. (Wasn’t able to do that before this started)

I wake up with intense anxiety for no obvious reason.

No energy throughout the day.

Complete loss of sex drive.

My partner says I grind my teeth while I sleep.

My partner says I snore occasionally (maybe once or twice a month).

It almost alternates between one decent night of sleep and one night where it feels like I didn’t sleep at all.

Sometimes I wake up with songs stuck in my head that seem like they’ve been playing all night.

I never wake up feeling refreshed anymore.

Almost every other night, I wake up feeling like I never actually slept. It’s like my brain was awake the entire time even though I know I must have been asleep. Sometimes I have songs looping in my head all night, extremely vivid dreams, or I wake up feeling like I was just lying there with my eyes closed for hours instead of actually sleeping. It feels like I never started a”new day”, it feels like I just continued into the yesterday.

The strange thing is that it seems to happen in a pattern. I’ll have one decent night of sleep, then the next night feels like I didn’t sleep at all, then another decent night, then another terrible one. It’s almost like clockwork. But for the past 5 days it feels like I just haven’t slept at all.

I’ve dealt with anxiety and derealization before, so I don’t know if that’s connected, but this feels so physical that it’s hard to believe it’s just anxiety.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Did you ever figure out what it was? Sleep inertia? Sleep apnea? REM issues? Something else? I’m honestly getting pretty worried because it’s making me dread going to bed.

I know nobody here can diagnose me, but I’d really appreciate hearing if anyone has gone through something similar.

What does this sound like?

Bare with me because I’m pretty tired.

So basically I’ve got super crappy sleep for the pat 3 years or so. Just feeling completely unrested when I wake up, waking ups it anxiety, waking up disconnected from reality, head will feel super weird, eyes will be blood shot and burning/dry, and I’ll wake up kinda feeling like I didn’t even start a “new day” it’s like I just continued into the next day. It’s super strange and unsettling.

The main reason I made this post is because for the past couple weeks I’ve had this thing where one night I sleep okay and then the next night is horrible sleep, then okay, then bad again, and the good again etc etc. it’s like absolute clockwork. Wtf is going on? I’m sleeping 3:30AM-11:30AM.

Is anyone interested in a Facebook Marketplace side hustle?

I’ve been running a small Facebook Marketplace side hustle for a while and have decided it’s probably time for me time for me to get into something new.

The whole thing is honestly pretty simple. I source products from a supplier and list them on Marketplace. No dropshipping, no ads, no branding, no Chinese suppliers, and no complicated systems to learn. The products usually sell for anywhere from $100-$500, and I average around $100 profit per sale.

It only takes me about an hour a day to keep up with. Most of that time is spent posting listings, usually 20-30 a day. Customer messages are pretty minimal and nothing that takes up a lot of time.

The only reason I’m looking to sell is because I’m wanting to focusing on other things and don’t really have the interest to keep running it. It’s been a solid little side hustle for many years but I think it’d be a good fit for someone looking for something new that doesn’t require a ton of time each day.

I’m not desperate to sell and I’m not in any rush. Just putting it out there to see if there’s any interest. If you have questions, feel free to reach out.

Passing down a side hustle. Is anyone interested?

I’m looking to pass down my small Facebook Marketplace side hustle that I’ve been running for a bit. It’s a very straightforward reselling model and it’s not complicated dropshipping and not using any Chinese suppliers.

The products I sell usually go for between $100 and $500, and I average around $100 profit per sale. It takes me about an hour each day to manage. Most of the time is spent listing products on Marketplace, usually around 20–30 listings per day. There is some customer messaging involved, but it’s pretty minimal and nothing overwhelming.

This model is VERY simple. I’m essentially taking products from one place and listing them on Facebook Marketplace. There’s no branding, no ads, no paid traffic, and no complex systems to manage. It’s very easy, and I genuinely think almost anyone could do this with a bit of consistency.

I’m selling it because I’m shifting my focus to other projects and wanted to see if anyone else was interested in taking it on. I am in no rush to sell. If you’re interested or have questions, feel free to comment or reach out! Thank you.

Feels like I didn’t sleep?

I’m not sure if I have insomnia but I am a night owl by nature. I stay up until about 4am and then wake up around 12pm.

Anyways, the last few days I’m going to “sleep” but it literally feels like I didn’t sleep. It feels like I blinked and woke up. That’s obviously an exaggeration but it felt SO fast. When I woke up I had tons of anxiety, my eyes were like burning and dry?, I felt detached from reality, I felt disoriented and confused, and I could remember ALL of my dreams detail for detail. I just feel so so so so unrested.

Does this sound like something insomnia would cause? Or could someone point me in the right direction? I don’t have insurance yet so I’m trying to figure out what I can do to help myself right now. I am pretty miserable. It’s been years since I’ve got restful sleep.

Does this sound like sleep apnea? Please help.

So I went to bed at 3 am and woke up at 11am which was like 5 minutes ago and my eyes are super dry, I absolutely feel like I didn’t sleep at all, my head feels super weird, I feel disconnected from reality, tons of anxiety. I can remember every last one of my dreams detail for detail. It’s like I blinked and woke up. And as I’m typing this, my head feels weirder.

I don’t have health insurance right now so I’m kinda screwed.

Please help me solve this mystery.

Before you comment, I do not have insurance currently and won’t for about 6 months. So I am trying to do my research and figure out what’s up with me in the meantime.

So… my sleep has been messed up for at least 3 years. The biggest thing is just waking up unrested but other symptoms include waking up with dry eyes, waking up with anxiety, waking up disoriented and confused, loads of day time anxiety and DPDR, daytime sleepiness obviously etc etc. It has been a very long time since I’ve gotten restorative sleep or just woke up actually feeling refreshed.

For example, I got exactly 8 hours of sleep last night and it literally feels like I took a really long nap. That’s the best way I can explain it. Like the sleep felt super short, woke up with burning eyes and so much anxiety and felt like I didn’t even actually sleep. Idk.

My partner says I occasionally snore. Maybe once a month and says I frequently grind my teeth while sleeping. Also, I have nightmares 95% of the time I’m asleep.

If you have ANY idea of what this sounds like, please share your thoughts so I could start trying to self treat until I get insurance. I am quite literally miserable and want my life back.

2008 Honda Civic temp gauge fluctuating?

So the temp gauge on my 2008 Honda Civic is fluctuating a lot. It’s a digital gauge so it’s just these notches and I noticed that it goes from 7 to 8 to 9 notches. It never runs hot, it just bounces back and forth to 7, 8, and 9 notches. What could this be?

Looking for advice on getting a car loan with bad credit?

I recently discovered that my 2008 Honda Civic has a hairline crack in my engine block which leaks water that comes from my radiator.

I’m not in a position to purchase a new or used vehicle outright at all and my credit is poor. I do Instacart for a living so having a vehicle gets my bills paid.

I was just curious if it’s possible to get a car loan with not much of a down payment with bad credit?

Stuck in bad sleep sleep schedule

I fall asleep at 3-4am and wake up at 11am-12pm. I want out of this so bad. It’s so boring, lonely, and depressing. I’ve been on it for years so no matter what I do my brain and body just revert right back to this. I just feel so trapped. Every time I attempt getting up earlier in small increments I just fail. Or if I go extreme with it and get up 3-4 hours earlier I’m miserable. I just don’t know what to do.

Any advice?

Does this sound like sleep apnea?

For the past few months I’ve had this thing where I wake up out of my sleep completely randomly after being asleep for about 3 hours give or take. When I wake up I feel like I didn’t sleep or almost like I took a nap? Every time this happens I will wake up extremely disoriented, disconnected, and FULL of anxiety. After this happens it’ll take me about 2 hours to fall back asleep. It’s also like my head will feel “off” or weird. I really can’t find anything similar to this online. I had so confused and lost. It’s actually the scariest thing in the world because after I wake up I just don’t feel like I’m connected to the real world. Once I go back to sleep for a few hours I’ll wake up and feel connected again. I just don’t understand this. It’s horrifying.

Oh and also, I’ll have to pee at least 5 times from the time I wake up and the time I fall asleep. Ridiculous amount of peeing.

Does this sound like sleep apnea?

I’ve been having this new thing for the past year where I completely wake up out of my sleep after about 3-4 hours of sleeping. I will feel super confused, head will feel weird, I will have to urinate, I feel like I didn’t even sleep and most of all I will have TONS of anxiety. The anxiety will be so awful to the point of feeling disconnected from reality.
