There were already a lot of ads on both the app and the site, but it was still relatively manageable. Now I’m getting slow, unskippable ads in the app every three messages and the site doesn’t even let you type anything without seeing an ad first. What is happening?
I’ve done everything, I’ve only had my switch 1 for 2 years, and I’ve only dropped it once, last year, but this year, it’s practically unplayable. It keeps disconnecting me every five minutes on every game. I got a wifi extender, and it’s not doing anything. I’ve plugged it in different locations too. And in my room, despite signal being weaker, my phone continuously hangs on to signal. My switch cannot. It also now keeps doing this thing where it crashes my games with a notification saying that a system error occurred. I’ve tried restarting the switch. Checking how the wifi systems are and what it needs to run smoothly, and it supposedly has everything. But it keeps continously doing this. If it’s not the wifi dropping out. It’s a system error. It feels more like a piece of plastic than a console

For context, my room doesn’t have the strongest signal, my wifi is a bit weaker, but most of my devices like the tv and my phone work just fine. My switch used to too. But recently? It’ll be connected for a bit, then completely give out and have no signal for a few seconds.
Obviously this is bad for when you want to play games that need that consistent connection.
I’ve tried restarting my switch, forgetting the wifi network then reconnecting to it and typing in the password, and I’ve recently bought a wifi extender, but it hasn’t come in yet. My concern is that it’s been getting so much worse the past few days. It can’t keep me in a game for longer than five minutes. I’m getting bans that last hours. The entire console has become unusable. I have to literally be right next to the router or anywhere but upstairs. While the router is downstairs. It was never this bad before.

When I try to talk to a new bot, I’ll often get ads that last up to a minute and still won’t end. No countdown in sight. No indicator of how long the video is. if I tap on it, it just gives me the option to open the website it’s advertising for. I’ve lost a bot I wanted to talk to because of it, and I think I’m about to lose another, because I don’t want to sit here watching an ad for an unspecified amount of time. It feels disgusting. I mostly use character ai because fandoms are toxic misogynistic cesspools rn, and that’s why I’ve stuck with this as long as I have. But at this rate, I might just genuinely quit the app.

I was watching an old draft when I accidentally activated autocut. As a result, the audio and footage all disappeared. I attempted to force restart the app. Didn’t work. I attempted to clear my cache. Didn’t work. I restarted my phone. Didn’t work. I tried posting the draft to private posts, but that failed. Then to my story. That failed too. I then decided to delete the story post attempt, (I didn’t think this would have consequences as I was able to delete the private post attempts just fine) but that deleted the draft itself for some reason. I opened the app store and updated the app, then just recently deleted, only for the draft to just- not be there. what the hell even happened?
