In my never-ending quest for new music I was wondering what other artists are out there that are not from the US but still fit within this genre. I absolutely love The Skints which got me wondering about this in particular. Let me know!
Anyone know where I can find the album Herbal Remedy by Clear Conscience & Friends? It's seems to have been delisted from Spotify and it's not on YT music either. I will even buy a physical copy if someone knows where I can find one. Haven't heard the album in years but was reminded of it recently and was super disappointed when I couldn't find it. Thanks!
Continuing from my last post, what are y'all's favorite albums released in the last 2-3 years? Looking forward to your answers!
What are your favorite albums by any artist in the cali reggae sphere? I'm talking entire albums that are amazing from start to finish. I really appreciate listening to a record and just loving every track.
It bothers me a great deal that people (in the US at least) can't seem to understand that the small shopping carts should go on one side and the larger carts in the other side of the corral when returning your cart.
Has anyone else noticed that the amount of absurd orders that get offered to you has absolutely skyrocketed? I used to barely have to decline orders because they were at least decent. Now, every other order pretty much I'm declining. I get offers all the time that are like $2 for 15-20+ miles of driving. Its driving me insane and to those of you who accept those requests, why would you do that? You're literally losing money unless you get a big tip but 9 times out of 10 the tip is only $1-2. I'm in the Raleigh-Durham area of NC for reference.
I have a car that needs more in repairs than it's worth and I'm looking to sell it for parts. Does anyone have a recommendation for where I could do this at? Thanks!
I switch 1 just updated and when it restarted it popped up saying I can claim Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for free. Is it some type of free trial or something? It let me download it from the eShop and everything.
I'm just looking for opinions influenced by leftist thinking I guess. I'm not super educated on theory or anything but I do generally consider myself a leftist.
A musician that I like and follow recently started collaborating with another artist that is openly antivax, transphobic, and supported Trump. I made the decision that I refuse to listen to any of the collaboration because I simply can't support someone with those beliefs.
I brought this up in a thread about this collaboration and I got hammered on with people saying things like "I separate the art from the artist". To me that is just an excuse.
The artist that I have liked in the last incorporates an overarching theme of anti-capitalism and acceptance in their music typically which is why this seems like a strange collaboration.
It seems crazy to me that all these people were so ready to defend the right-wing artist just because they liked the music. When I first brought this up months ago most people told me that the first artist will influence the second artist to be a better person. They have no response when I show them that he clearly hasn't changed his stances because he is still writing music about right wing conspiracy theories (like Pizza Gate ffs). They always just go with the "separating the art from the artist" BS.
Am I overreacting?
Just a heads up to my fellow survival game fans, on May 14th the game "Survival: Fountain of Youth" will be available via Amazon Luna to Prime members. If you don't have prime you can probably get a free trial and once you claim the game it's yours to keep.
