A Salamander to guard a Salamander

Just wanted to make my last non- Warhammer post. The Salamander i was gifted from a lovely human on here, watching out for his live Salamander brethren, making sure no harm comes to him. Yall are the best community to have accidentally posted on, and opened up a new hobby for me as well (cuz clearly I needed another one!l! Thank you!

The shrimp are organizing! Evolution is nigh!!! Lol

I showed this picture to Gemini to see what it would say, and this conversation made me giggle, hope its good for a few laughs!

My new Spring salamander set up

I just made this little guys enclosure up today! Hes my Spring Salamander, Isaac. He just entered his sub-adult stage of life and is using the land more, so i made the shoreline of the area where he was found injured. I used a turtle ramp with a super strong suction cup, with slate under the back to support the weight just incase. Theres a trickle waterfall going over the moss and tree, a submersible pump to create a current, and a sponge filter. There are ghost shrimp and snails in the water, and a few crickets on land. Ill be adding topsoil and more burrows once i have a 20 gallon tank for his forever home. All the stone is very firmly in place, and cant be moved. Isaac seems to like it so far! Opinions? Suggestions? All live plants and moss, some from his native stream as well.

My new tank set up, first real paludarium

I just set up my first real paludarium for my spring salamander who just entered his sub-adult life stage and his few snail and ghost shrimp friends. There are multiple terraces and cave , live plants and moss, a trickle water feature that drips off the moss in the tree and behind into the water for a gentle trickle sound, plus submersible pumps for current and the water feature, and a sponge filter. Did I do okay?

Doc Connors new Tank Design and Theme

My little guy, Doc Connors and his Sacrificial Temple! Getting a 20 gal this weekend, but this is the set up for now in the 10 gal. He seems to like it so far, and accepts the gold, stones and of course, crickets for the occasional sacrifice (or bribe!)! What do yall think so far? I think he seems to like it!

Sacrifices welcome (crickets only)

I just made this little guys enclosure up today! I went with a Sacrificial Temple theme, all the big rocks are very stable and some are glued together. There are 3 hides and slate to absorb the heat and some fun little stones, "gold bars," a gold chest, and a skull pile. Doc Connors seems to like it so far! Opinions? Suggestions?

Has anyone else gotten a fish with what im assuming is a birth defect from poor breeding?

So this is Princess Peach- I brought her home a few days ago and she's doing well, swimming regularly and eating. Has anyone else gotten a bendy baby? I have a few different hammocks and java moss covered beds, but she usually chooses to lay on the sand? Is there anything that might be better for her, or anyone that's gotten a betta with a similar issue?

Shrimp shire is complete..... for now. Also help with ideas please!

Hiiii friends! I added little boats and floating mountains to the top of the tank, and the snails and shrimp have been hanging out on the bottom of them, just enjoying the ride!

I'm waiting for the berried females to have the little shrimplets and trying to think up some different style houses for other tanks. Does anyone have DIY alternatives to my little terracotta houses? I have 3D printed caves, and small pvc pipe tunnels already.

New tank set up

My updated shrimp tank and handmade houses, they're growing so fast and ive done my best to use allllll the vertical space! I love watching them zoom and eat! What's your favorite silly shrimp behavior or best pictures?!?!!?

Happy Skittles shrimp eating!

My friend got me shrimp off a seller on ebay, I was nervous to say the least- but they were packaged well, have zero deaths from shipping, and have been growing and getting darker colors as they get molt and bigger- quarantined them, and later added them to my shrimp only tank, and they've been doing great!

Did I just get lucky? Has anyone gotten nice shrimp at a decent price from ebay or similar platform? I was just curious. Thanks, friends!
