Your opinion of Lance Storm and his ECW run?

I seen Lance Storm through most of his ECW run, but not the tail end as my local TV station dropped ECW. Lance looks like someone who just left military service (based on his crew cut hairstyle) who chose to become a pro wrestler and had no flashy gimmick and persona. Every time I see him, I was never quite 100% sold he was a heel, despite him being part of the Triple Threat and later The Impact Players. I always got the vibe he was going to turn face at any given time because he seemed "too nice" to be a heel. But I actually LIKED him despite the side he was on.

I can't be alone in my thinking. What did you think of him during his time in ECW?

When the hot summer days hits your area, did you "live" in the supermarket like the Bundys did?

Especially when your home has no air conditioning, and your household fans are not helping much? Did the episode "You Better Shop Around" made you realize "Hey, this is not such a bad idea by the Bundys!" Not to the extent on how they started as shown in the screenshot here, with the lawn chairs and stuff, but I do hang around inside my local supermarket for VERY long stretches for their air conditioning. Just the other day, I spent over two hours there because of the oppressive heat and humidity in my area, walking around every aisle multiple times. And just to buy one product... for instance, a two pound package of frozen pork ribs, so I am not questioned by any employees as to why I'm walking around the place so much and for so long. If you never done this before, did you pick up the idea after you watched this episode? My sister does the same thing and she said it certainly was thanks to Al and Peggy!

When did reality sink in for you that your life as a student was finally over?

It really did not hit me until three years after earning my bachelor's degree and graduate school wasn't in the cards.

Long story short, being a student for 18 straight years starting from kindergarten through college (I took a five year program), it just felt strange to no longer have that "structure" in my life where I go to school from September through June and have the summers off.

Girl names you associate with good, nice people?

Every one I ever met in my life with these names are nice girls/women, not a jerk or a bitch:

Emily, Julie, Jennifer, Kimberly, Nicole, Nina, Rebecca

I know three Ninas, one of them my boss at work, and they're all pleasant to be around.

I know five Nicoles, and all of them are not only nice, but have a good sense of humor.

This has been my experience. What was yours?

Anyone else today getting the "Something unexpected happened. We’re working to figure out what happened and why" screen after completing any survey but still getting your points?

Every time it happens, I was afraid I was going to get screwed out of the points.

The hottest summer you ever experienced living in Boston and the suburbs?

For me: The Summer of 1988. Nine heatwaves. All of those heatwaves were more than three days long. The only breaks between each heatwave was one day of long heavy rain or thunderstorm. 1988 is the standard where I measure all summers after that.

With the heatwave starting today, I felt this is a good time to ask this question.

What was the year, or how old were you, when you finally landed stable full-time employment?

For me, it's 1998 after years of part-time jobs. I remember that year clearly for that reason. I still feel 1998 was five years ago rather than 28 years ago. It was also the very first full-time job I ever had. Incredibly, I am still working this job today!

No need to tell what your job/career is. Just the year or how old were you when you finally landed full-time work and never have to look for another job for a very long time.

How often do you call your aging parents when you are living so far away from them?

I am asking those living far away (hundreds of miles away or even out of the country) that have parents in their 90s who are intent on aging in place at the family home. With the presumption that your relationship with them is good, how often do you make a phone call to your mother and/or father to know how they are doing (e.g., every morning, every evening, once a week)?

My 82 year old Mom still owns and lives in our family house. (My father died 14 years ago.) My siblings and I moved out over 25 years ago, but all of us have the front and back door keys to the family house. So we can actually walk into the house at will like we are welcome and still live there. I wonder if this is common or uncommon among families when their children move out for good. Did your parents let you keep the keys or you must turn them in?

Since we still have the keys, it does tell us our Mom is saying "This will always be your home. Always."

For me: Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who played middle son Randy Taylor on Home Improvement. Jonathan was so cute and adorable those first two years on the show, I really wanted to be inside the Taylor house just to pick him up off his feet and give him a kiss on the cheek. I was 20 years old at the time when the show first aired, so I was old enough to be his babysitter. There's no other sitcom child star past or present for me. He's the only one, hands down.

So who was yours?

This Massachusetts home is owned by a family of four (husband and wife with two daughters) since 1968. The younger daughter is my high school classmate, friend, and teammate on the girls varsity volleyball team. We were both born in 1973, so she was 100% raised in this house. This suburban road and the neighboring houses were also made in 1960 in basically the same style.

Our father passed away 14 years ago. My Mom (82) still lives in our family home. Even though my older brother (54), myself (53), and my baby sister (51) struck out on our own over 25 years ago, our bedrooms were left intact and still remains the same since we left. If you visited as a guest and look into our rooms today, you would have believed three high school-aged teens were living in the house.

Did your parents do the same and left your room the same after you moved out for good? Or was your room changed into something else?

For the last two months, my Moto G Pure gives me these notifications (see image) from time to time on some national news stories. I presume this originates from the Motorola Notifications app. So I went there and shut off the Personalize content and Notifications settings, but the Hello You/Trending now messages still keep showing up. Is there any way to get rid of this? I definitely do not need this, as I rely on my local TV station's app for breaking national and local news notifications.
