How important is a raised workstation?

Im just a hobbiest, still learning lots. Decided to go dedicated workspace via rolltop style desk.

Hopefully the enclosed sides help contain launched parts😎

Anyways, i know watchmakers use raised desk - i guess i could make a frame and raise up the entire desk or i recently saw the little raised work tables you put on a desk.

For now i havnt had too make issues hunched over, i actually need the lower workspace if i use the microscope.

Just curious what eveyones opinion is on this

Missed the kickstarter refund email…ugreen stole my money

So UGREEN is refusing to refund my AI NAS deposit because I “missed a questionnaire email.”

I paid the $30 reservation deposit for the AI NAS Kickstarter/preorder. I couldnt get on a ridiculous drops for the model i wanted, so I emailed support requesting my deposit back.

Their response was basically:

they sent a questionnaire regarding refunds,
I allegedly didn’t complete it in time,
therefore the refund deadline has passed,
and they won’t refund the deposit.

This feels pretty ridiculous considering:

It was marketed as a refundable deposit.

Missing a single email/questionnaire apparently voids the refund entirely.

They’re keeping people’s money over what is essentially an administrative technicality.

For a company trying to build goodwill in the NAS/homelab community, this seems like a terrible policy.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Were you able to get your deposit refunded after the deadline?

Hopeful for Recovery

Recent FHO surgery. Photo was immediately after vet, we are currently at day 2 and he is really forgetting he just had major surgery.

Going to be a tough month ahead

Finally Legal

Running great. Swapped the CV for a mikuni HSR-42, much better throttle response.

Anyone have a source for a lower belt guard?

2015 JK, 77k miles - I have a C2200 error that wont clear, its my only fault code.

Almost every light on my dash is lit and cruise control wont work. I just want to finally fix this.

Every jeep dealer and online source has no ETA on this part for the last few years.

Even the module repair places wont touch it…

What are my options?? I have state inspection coming up soon and dont think i can pass with the lights on the dash.

Thanks!
