How to get antibiotics without having to show the doctor the wound?

I have a big and deep flesh wound but im scared to show the doctor because of how I got it. I have many wounds all over my body and I dont want to answer any inquiries on how I got them. I don't want anyone to get in trouble.

Are there any excuses I can use? The wound was caused by knife. It's deep enough and in a place where its pretty obvious it wasn't an accident.

If I have to show them the wound, is there a way I can show them the wound only and no other part of my body? I have a lot of trauma with people seeing my body. I'm also extremely nervous to bring it up. If anyone has any idea how I could bring this up with the doctor it'd greatly help. Thank you

I can't answer any questions on where this wound came from, sorry. It's really deep and it's through fat and muscle. It was caused recently so hasn't healed much.

Thank you.

I live in the us if that helps

Sorry if this post is oddly written. In pain

Edit: thank you for your responses, I'm setting up an appointment tomorrow

Did you get any weird habits after your experience?

I asked on some other survivor subs but nothing pertaining to men specifically. I'd like to know if anything can be different or unique for male survivors.

I've heard the weird habits can vary person to person.

Some people get bowel or bladder issues, some people numb themselves with drugs,

In my experience, it's taking long showers because it's the place I feel the most safe. I also really hate briefs because and how it sticks to my body. They can reminds me that certain parts exist when I dont want to think about them. I prefer boxers a lot more, but sometimes even those are too much.

I also feel like self harm is the only way I can stop focusing on feeling hands sometimes.

What weird habits did you pick up?

I'm asking because I wonder if there's more things that I do that aren't seen as normal or things I just never noticed I do. Maybe people will be able to get that too from this thread

Those of you who have experience with deliriants, what do you remember from your experience?

For anyone who doesn't know,

deliriants are different from psychedelics. You can usually tell psychedelic induced hallucinations aren't real. Deliriant induced hallucinations feel completely real and genuine.

The effects of deliriants are very similiar to how people describe schizophrenia and dementia. They are usually unpleasant and can make real life feel like a horror movie.

Those of you who were injected with venom, what did it feel like? What was it from?

The experience can be second hand.

I'm looking for information on what different types of venom feels like.

If I injected small doses of venom, overtime would I become immune?

Say I want to defeat an opponent but my opponent uses bees. So I train to overcome the bees. With enough time, dedication and medical assistance, is it possible?

Those of you who have gotten a venomous bite or sting before, what did it feel like? What was it from?

I heard there's a lot of variety in the ways they can look and feel.

How dangerous was it?

It can also be a secondhand experience.

What do you think life would be like if we all had venomous stingers?

Every human grows a stinger at age 11. This stinger can paralyze people or kill them if you sting them for long enough.

These are questions I have brewing. Be free to indulge them, be free to not.

Do you think it'd become commonplace to chop off our stingers? Would people who still have stingers be seen as dangerous criminals?

Crime would certainly be a problem if most people have their stingers.

Do you think homocide rates would skyrocket?

Would people modify their stingers to be more dangerous?

If you have any questions be free to ask. I am truly curious about the logistics.

Anyways have a good day

In 2026, how likely is it for someone to be abused in a Psychiatric Hospital?

It's always been a fear of mine. I've heard stories from family members and family friends the kinds of bad stuff that happens in them.

I still hear horror stories from friends sometimes.

While the optimistic part of me hopes that things might have gotten better, I know those expectations aren't realistic.

The answer can be from anywhere in the world.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Realistically, with the avaliable modern technology, how quickly would Kira from Death Note get caught?

Would they be able to find out through his digital footprint, or do you think Kira would have an easier time hiding his true identity? Even if they get footage of Light Yagami acting weird, Light could say it was AI. A lot of people would be fabricating AI evidence of a mysterious figure like Kira. Trying to find the real evidence in a slop sea of that would be hell

Light Yagami also has access to an extremely developed internet along with translation tools. All he needs is a phone and he could focus on any country's criminals to throw detectives off. If he times it so the deaths happen far after from when he visits the webpage, I think it'd be really hard for investigators to think he's any different from the other people who visited the webpage

What do you think? I'd love to hear all your arguments.

What prisons have the worst human rights violations?

And where/how can I learn more about them?

I am referring to ones that are currently open. It can be from anywhere in the world.

If it's not technically a prison but it's somewhere people are trapped in against their will, they can still be answers. Psychiatric hospitals, detention camps and more work.

What kind of human rights are known to have been violated there?

What do you think life would be like if we had transparent skin?

Transparent like a glass frog. Only the organs are not see through.

Completely optional questions below because I am really curious about the optics here. If you can think of any be free to ask. Don't be afraid to ignore.

Do you think we'd be more desensitized to gore since we see organs all day?

Do you think we'd survive longer because we could see our organs at all times? You could tell if someone was choking, having a heart attack or more. A doctor is more likely to find out what's wrong with you. And if you have bad habits like smoking, you can actively see the damage being done to your organs and may be more inclined to stop.

Do you think the quality of someone's organs would determine someone's attractiveness? Would supermodels be really healthy?

Do you think people would cover up their bodies more?

Would periods be more or less stigmatized?

Would pregnancies be kind of creepy?

Would people eat in private? I don't think seeing food be chewed up by someone and swallowed all mushy would be good for my appetite.

Anyways thanks for indulging my question asking.
I have way too many thoughts about this.

Is aversion to certain clothing types and textures normal for victims of SA?

To preface this, all my clothes are either my size or bigger. So it's not an issue of them being too small for me.

I can't stand the way a lot of clothes feel. Not because I'm afraid of being hurt again by the way I present myself, but the way they make me feel like I'm being touched. They can fit me nicely but my body is so sensitive to certain sensations that it feels like I have 100 wedgies in 100 different places. And most of the time they're just normal clothing wrinkles.

From a young age I hated wearing underwear because of how they feel, so even to this day I wear pants without them unless I'm on my period. Moving to boxers helped, but it depends on how they feel with the pants I'm wearing. On some days I can tolerate tighter clothing like skinny jeans and leggings. Other days it gets so bad I'd rather not have any clothes on.

While I have aversions to many things like food, I think my aversion to clothing is different because I feel a rising panic and like something bad will happen. And I'll have this annoying, unpleasant tingling feeling on my lower back.

Could this have something to do with SA I experienced?

Does anyone else experience this and know why they experience it?

What are the worst thoughts you've had to do with your experience?

They can be blatantly incorrect too.

A lot of the time I end up believing my family when they said I had it coming and it only happened due to my own actions.

Sometimes I think to myself, what if it really was just me? What if I deserved it, and that person will truly go on to hurt nobody else? Maybe I was the exception because I'm really that bad of a person.

What if they're right and I just misremembered it? Even if i still feel the hands sometimes

And more.

What about you?

What happens to you when you get triggered?

I know for me it can range based on how and when I got triggered. But my memory often gets fuzzy during these moments. I don't remember much about what happens or what activities i get into. Just emotions I feel

From what I do remember, I often get angry, sad, insecure, numb or hypersexual.

Be free to divulge as much or as little detail as you want. I understand most probably have a fuzzy memory like mine

What is it like to wake up during surgery?

The answer can be with any kind of drug or surgery. I'm not picky, I'd just like to learn more.

Optional questions:

How lucid could you be?

Would you still feel sensations and pain?

Scientifically, why do people like the smell of armpits?

I've also always wondred why the armpits have such distinct smells compared to the other parts of the body. Why not the knees or somewhere else? Is this some kind of evolutionary benefit?

I wasn't certain what flair this fit most so went with health flair.

Youtubers who started using ai slop?

How do they use it?

Were they always using it?

Optional questions:

Why do they use ai?

What excuses do they use for their ai use?

Did they once make good content before relying on ai as a crutch?

Were they once respected?

This post was made because I started thinking of Tobuscus and his conservative ai slop spiral. It made me want to ask what youtubers also use slop now so I could avoid them. Whether its subtle use or obvious.

It can range from usage of ai art to usage of ai in scripts or research and more.

Please be careful with who you answer with and please make sure you 100% know the person uses ai.

Has anyone survived from being split in two starting at the stomach, ribcage or waist?

You are pulled apart quickly. Your two halves are separated until they're no longer touching.

Completely optional questions:

How long would you stay alive for?

If surviving isn't impossible, what would the likelihood of death be?

What would it feel like? Could you still be consious?

What would it look like?

What medical procedures would be necessary if survivability isn't impossible?

Could you ever be connected again and become one again? Or are you an amputee?

What was it like to be a convict in the past?

Since the prison system is still bad after how much society as a whole has developed, what was it like to be a convict back then?

This question is referring to prisons that were in place 100 or more years ago. I'm being vague with the location and time because I'd love to learn about the history of convicts from any country and era. The topic of how prisons work deeply intrigue me.

How many human rights were violated? What would my day-to-day life be like?

Assuming I'm not executed and that I'm kept alive for at least a year.

Bonus points if you have any recommendations for websites, books or more. I'd love leads to research.
