I’ve been using prescription tret (0.05%) for over a year now and have not seen any change in my skin condition. On the contrary, it’s become extremely sensitive and stings every time I double cleanse or apply a moisturiser. I started with sandwich method & continued till the very end but did not feel any improvement in the stinging feeling. This has affected my skin so much now that even azelaic acid has started to sting on my face (it didnt previously). I’ve been off tret for about a month now and my skin still burns every time I wash and apply moisturiser. I’ve experimented with various products including mizon snail mucin, glycerine, lrp baume b5 & nivea tin but nothing has so far helped in calming down the burning sensation.
So I have come to this conclusion that I’ll have to say bye to tret forever.. 🥲

So I’m here to ask - what exactly makes you eligible for this practice and what are the rules you must follow? For example, if I want, can I give my mother some amount that she can add to the overall expense of qurbani? Would that suffice or should the amount be equal to certain number? Should my husband and I be doing a separate qurbani?
